I've finally gotten around to making a new coaster. The layout is done and AHGed, but I suddenly ran into a problem. I can't get rid of my 1.8 lateral g's. Should I keep it this way and keep working? I mean, it is within limits, and they aren't constant, it's just a half-second to second long spurt when changing certain elements. I also have -1.6 negative vertical g's, which is also a lot. Is it realistic though (considering it is inspired by Maverick, the ejection-gforce-generator)?

Updated 3-23-08, see post.

I can't say anything against the -1.6, seems fine to me.

But 1 second is a long time, and 1.8 laterals are a lot. Even most woodies won't pull them, so I'd say do what you can to eliminate it...

Would it be bad if I used the MCBR as a small launch, from like 22 mph to like 32 or something?
X2 ??? Intimidator 305 ??? Millennium Force ??? Iron Rattler ??? El Toro ??? Fury 325 ??? Maverick ??? Skyrush ??? Twisted Timbers ??? Voyage

^Only if it can make it the rest of the way if you E-Stopped it there, too.

^Well of course it would. The rest of the ride is low-altitude anyway, but has semi-bad pacing. The wheels will give it a little push when e-stopped too.

Edit:
Bah, humbug. I'll just speed the mcbr, add some schnazzy supports, and call it a ride. Release date absolutly unknown.

-1.6 g's is too strong as far as I know, try to get that down to at the very most -1.4, preferably -1.2 or -1.3.

Dcs, I just reran a G-test.
Here are the results I recorded.

DROP G'S:
Front @ 100% time = -1.1
Back @ 100% time = -1.4
Front @ 25% time = -1.1
Back @ 25% time = -1.5**

OTHER PARTS:
Front @ 100% time = -1.3
Back @ 100% time = -1.5**
Front @ 25% time = -1.3
Back @ 25% time = -1.5** for a SPLIT SECOND (And at 25% time, that's not saying very much if there is a force at slowed time that shows up for a blink of an eye).

Also there is, at 25%, a point in the back seat that generates 1.6 laterals for a split second.

**Yes, there are green and yellow -1.5's

There's the records. I don't really know how to fix it other than screwing up the pacing. Hell, I might just end up putting a sign like they did on Cyclops @ Mt. Olympus if you know what I mean.

EDIT: Also, I need some suggestions for the station. Additions? Fixes? A color? Multiple colors?

25% time isnt very accurate for measuring, i would use 50%.

^50% has the same exact results as 100%. So, I think I'm pretty much alright on G's. Any comments?

Also, I still need comments on:

1) Station. It's pretty much final, but I will add one picture with it finished plus a queue (sp?) line. Is the color good? Should it have more than one color?

2) Color; the track is pretty much solid, I like the color. I need to know if the support color looks good with it, or what else it could be.

3) Name. The only thing I like so far that I've come up with is Spirit. Any suggestions?

EDIT: 4 pictures added: Station, Landscape, and two Tree picture (you'll see).

5 Pictures added of the, basically, final version of the ride.
It should be released later on today.
Thank you, Jake (Gerstlcrazy) for the beautiful LIMs.
Also, Jake suggested the name to be Cliffhanger (partially because of the drop). I thought of Aqueous, or something to do with water or something. I'm totally blank. Any suggestions?

Why two strips of LIMs? Also they need to be thinner imo.
