Hell yeah, I just finished the layout of my newest woody. Well... New... It was first a project that went into the freezer about 3-4 months ago. But recently i picked it up again and continued it.

Before i'm going to show you some screenshots, let's first check out the stats of this monster:
Height: 104,5m (342ft)
Length: 2727,67m (8949ft)
Top Speed: 159km/u (99mph)
5 cars per train
6 passengers per car
30 passengers per train
Will run 2 Trains total

The screenshots:

Check out that massive drop [pshades]

Image
yeah, I know... It's huge eh?!?

Image
A whooping -1g airtime over the full hill and that with a speed of 46mph!

Image
The fastest airtime hill with some insane lats. Also at this point the highest lateral g's.

Image
This is a 2nd massive drop with the first massive drop in the background.

Image
Very fast turn with a whooping speed of 70mph

Image
Yup, you'd see it correctly... This monster slams with 65mph into the brakes!

Comments are as always welcome [:)]

Wow. That looks amazing. I have to say I am looking forward to this. I assume you are not going to bother with bracing?

Edit: Can I do a screenshot for you?

Cool track, but in the interest of frame rates, it might be a good idea to offer the full version as well as a "light" track with only base wooden supports. Still though, cool project and I know from you that big will be good.

[lol]

The first idea was to run with 3 trains and then a lame mcbr. But then I have 2 problems: 1. Mcbr is too low and it flies though with 50mph. 2. Mcbr is too high and kills adrenaline.

i'd but some terrain under it, cos those massive supports really make it ugly

If i'm going to do some terrain, it's probably some small hills. Nothing big. Plus I like those huge massive structures. ^_^

Or just drop a note that you can save some FPS on removing the wide supports and turning the details settings down. [:)] Works here perfectly.

Edit: Can I do a screenshot for you?

Thanks, i'll probably just keep these wide supports. If i'm going to create my own lateral bracing i'll be still busy by next year [lol]
About the screenshot: Why not? If you can make it a wonderfull screen. Sure ^_^

that was your entry to my woodie contest huh?

Cool.

HA-14 fps?

The start of the ride was build on a template. I removed the template now and continued freehand ^_^

About the Fps: I know... My laptop sux xD

This has to be one of the most unrealistic rides ever, from someone who is ment to be a reputable designer.

There are reasons why woodies this tall never get built, many reasons, many bad reasons. And also, have you noticed that 3 of the 4 woodies that are the tallest are Intamin Prefabs? They can tolerate being tall because of the way they are built. The tallest woodie Son of Beast has had endless problems and modifications.

Your ride will not be correctly built, you will not be able to correctly support it, and if you are only planning on running two trains on a track over 8000ft (!) long, that is bad planning.

To summarise:
-its too high.
-it'll be too fast for a woodie to handle.
-you wont be able to support it
-you arent blocking it properly or running the correct number of trains
-you have no manufacturing style because no manufacturer or park would ever want to build this.

Don't mean to sound harsh, but open your eyes people!

Okay, I'm blowing this topic back to life.

I came across this ride a while back and did a couple slight modifications to the ride, So that I can finally share this huge ride with the world.

I'm expecting to upload this ride in less than 24 hours time. In the meantime, enjoy the fixed images in the first post. [:)]
