Oblivion, I just don't get it...

I'm making a Dive Machine, and obviously looked at all the other divers out there and when looking at Oblivion it just baffled me.

It is 65ft tall.
It has a 180ft drop.

I have ridden this coaster hundreds of times, but i am not convinced that it drops 115ft underground... (180-65=115)

Anyone care to explain this?

Well, isn't it on a hill? So while it never goes truly 115 feet underground, the drop is 115 feet?

its along way down. when your at the bottom of the drop it actually is quite deep, remember the pull out of it and the etrance is very very steep so it dont fel like 115 ft

Looks like a pretty big hole to me..

canadmos it is the same ride, look at the cars on that diving machine, then on oblivion, they are different

i never realised how deep the hole on oblivion was, i am gonna be I Love You!ing myself in july!
