It will be announced at the Apple Keynote speech coming soon. Really the only upgrade I hear of is it becoming a 3G phone, but it will be interesting what else comes. I also hear rumors on a Solid State Drive for iPods. I doubt that one.

Iphone 2.0 with 3G support is apparently coming out June 9th in Europe

you see, The uk uses more advanced networks than the US(fact, u use EDGE more, we use 3G and higher, i once had a HSPA connection speed), so thats why the iPhonne never sold as well here, give us 3g support and we're reet.

The iPhone/iPod Touch version 2.0 will basically be the same concept.

2.0 Features Include:
1) New security Updates/Patches.
2) SDK Applications (App Store Application)
3) A New firmware script. (Already been hacked [;)])
4) Touch Ups on Already Native iPhone/iTouch Applications.
5) iPhone will be compatible with the 3G AT&T Network.

You know that iPod Touch and the iPhone already use flash right? And Nano's and Shuffles.

Uhh, I thought some iPod's already have solid state drives. That is why there is such a big memory gap between the Classic iPod's and the Nano's. On the bigger iPod's, you can usually feel the drive rotating on startup. I have an 8gb nano and my computer reads it to have flash memory - not a hard drive.

Oh no! How dare you mention anything Apple on this site! You shall be shot and killed!

Joking, but I'm quite surprised how non-negatively people are reacting in here.

Anyways, I'm super excited for it, I'm a total Apple fanboy <3
