Since I am very new to Scream Machines I have been trying to find out how everything works. [xx(] As of now I know how to make a new track. [^] Which is not much since I can't even make a good track, it always ends up in a failure. Everytime when I start a new track can only lay 3 to 4 tracks and then it goes wrong and it becomes hard for me. [:I]I even have no idea how the supports works, I've tried auto support but that doesn't look good on a wooden coaster. Can anybody provide me with some information or a tutorial of any kind? Would be very much appreciated. [:)]

You bought the wrong simulator.
Barely anyone has it and barely anyone knows how to use it.

Oh I didn't buy it, I am still in the trial trying to figure things out. [:D]

P.S. Maybe gonna try to get NoLimits, is that one easier? [confused]

I have it and I know how to use it. Allthough NL still has my preferences.

So far I remember (which is now about 2 years ago) auto support is the way to do the woodie supports. On each track piece your laying down you should be able to adjust the wide supports to left, right, both or off.
Just like some people already said, the best thing is to play around with the editor to find out what does what. It took me also a while before I knew how to create proper custom supports.

What is for you easier? Every editor needs to be learned. NoLimits and Scream Machines are nothing compared to Rollercoaster tycoon on how to build. It's not just pressing some buttons and voilla, there is a new track.
Both simulators require most of the time a big area to learn the editor and to see what does what. [:)]

Anyway, I won't be stopping you from trying out NoLimits. Check it out, maybe you even like it more then Scream Machines [:)]

Ok I've tried out Scream Machines and NoLimits because these simulators are better than the game Rollercoaster Tycoon, this game is more something for somewhat younger children who would love to make a Rollercoaster the easy way. I just want to make a cool coaster with way more features. But not too hard, though too hard doesn't matter as long as there are tutorials for it. Are there any tutorials for NoLimits?

there are the odd couple, but i have been designing for just under a year, the no limits website has by far the most helpful instruction manual for NL, but that was to be expected, also, don't expect to immediately be able to get what you want out of your coaster, its been nearly a year since i have had NL and there are so many things i have yet to learn, experiment with both, and see what you think.

Well everyone has their own choice to what they like to play. For me, SM is still my first choice no matter if anyone tells me if something is better than the other. Im still happy with it and it's best for one to really get involved in what he likes and what he feels he likes best about it along with any other coaster games[;)]

when i said to play around with it i meant try to build a experimental coaster and press different buttons and see what they do...that way works the best for me and maybe the best way for you..but other than that idk!

http://www.coastercrazy.com/articles/cat.asp?cid=11 check out some of the Scream Machines articles here. Scream Machines offers more features than Nolimits does so I think Scream Machines is the better option and you can customize everything. You can even design your own roller coaster trains. There was an awesome star wars desert racer with trains from episode 1 made a year or two ago posted on another site and it was awesome. Something NL can't do.
