Is there a laptop graphics card that compares to the desktop Nvidia geforce 6150?

Even better, these days laptops come out with the 8800 GT integrated into the motherboard.

Try HP and Dell if you want graphics.

OK, now is there any possible way on earth, don't care what it costs, to upgrade to one of these from another integrated graphics? (without getting a new laptop)

In a PC sure ... but a laptop? Why bother? That's like taking a hampster to the vet. It is easier to simply buy a new laptop with what you want. Unless you know what you are doing, don't go cracking the thing open.

Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.

ahaha I have the same issue.. I hate the integrated graphics on my laptop! TConwell is right, I've looked into this not to long ago and decided it would be best to get a new laptop or desktop. Unfortunately for me that will be by the end of summer when I have the money. I really don't think it is possible - although I never got a straight answer from the different computer 'experts' I have asked.

Well the Mobile series from Nvidia are great, iv got a Geforece 8600M (i think) in my Acer and i can play Tom Clancy's RainBox 6 Vegas 2 and TimeShift (for example) exelent

there's even the 9500M and 9650M out

-----

of cource, if u want to COMPARE to the desktop geforce 6100... then get the lowest geforece mobile 7 series...

but i recommended a mid-range 8 series .. i mean, surely u dont have ur laptop JUST for NL

With the most laptops it's not possible to upgrade the graphics card, like conwell said buy a new laptop.
The better the Graphics card is the more expensive and how shorter your battery will last so thinkabout it if if you want to run from the battery a lot.
Geforce 8X00 are the graphics at the moment, if i needed a new laptop i would take one with a Geforce m8600.

Just keep the gaming on your desktop computer.

You could buy a much better 'full sized' video card for a desktop for cheaper than a mediocre mobile graphics solution in a new laptop.
