Iphone 2 Introduction

Just because the price for the iPhone unit is going down, does not mean that the price of that data plan is as well. To get 3g on the new iPhone will cost $30 oppossed to the $20 for the first iphone. I do understand that 3g is twice as fast as edge but i don't believe that att has to charge more. Also I have heard that it will be harder to get an iphone without agreeing to service because before you leave apple to get it you have to sign an agreement with att, and you won't be able to buy it online.

yea, but i think the reason why they are charging more is because more people will be buyin the iPhone, not because it is faster.

i bought an ipod video like 3 years ago, costed 300 bucks. loved it for about a week, until some kid tried to steal mine. than i dropped it on concrete and scratched the hell out of it. than i drop it in my house on the floor (softer, than such concrete), and it broke in half. took me 2 days to repair it and put it back together. within 5 months of ownership, the following had happened: scratched to hell, frozen buttons, laggy as hell, and audio no longer works in right ear.

pretty much, it is a POS. a year ago i bought a zune 30 gb, and have had NO troubles with it. i've dropped it more, treated it worse, and yet, it still works better than the ipod. zune>ipod. most cellphones>iphone.

knowning apple products, i wouldn't give you more than 10 dollars for this phone. it is something called 'a fad'. it is ovepriced, and is not a superior product. furthermore, itunes sucks. ieverything is horrible. i've had the luxury of using both platforms while in college, and PC, vista or xp, performed much better than the mac 'equal'.

also, few people here care when this phone is coming out, putting it in your sig is enough, but wasting your time to post, our time to read, and oscar's bandwith, is enough for me to request of you to stop counting down the days until the phone comes out.

Everybody always has huge problems with their ipods. But if you treat them right (i.e. don't drop them), then they'll be fine. I have an iPod mini from 2004 and it works fine.

I recently recieved an iPod classic for my birthday (WAY!!!! better than the touch: 10 times the storage, 5 times the battery, $100 less, and hey...if I really needed the features that a touch has, I'd just get an iPhone for only $50 more).

My iPods are great, but There's no way I'd buy one every year (like cade says he's doing).

That's just stupid, huge waste of money. I waited for the iPod mini to be out for a year, the price dropped $100 from its original price. I waited 8 months since the iPod classic's release, the price dropped $150 (not officially, but where I bought it from

Buying a new iPod every time one comes out is stupid, and spoiled rich.

I buy one when it first comes out because i can turn around and sell it when i get tired of it! and make some money off of it.

there are only a FEW things in life that gain value. Great memorabilia in sports history, messed up coins, and limited edition (very limited, 1 in 100 or so) versions of famous things. and these things have to be stored away for 50 years for them to make any profit. i am sorry, but an ipod does not do the following= Z>X

unless of course, when you say that, your parents bought X, so X costed you 0, and you sell it (Z), and do not give any of it to the original buyer. but you do claim that you bought it, so that is impossible.

you don't need a new everything, once you actually have to earn money, you'll learn that it isn't the way to do things.

you're pretty ducking spoiled kid. enjoy life as you have it and be greatful for what you have.
