Actually I was saying that realistic isnt just whats been done IRL. Why do we let the manufacturer dictate SO much when we design? Remember, alot of times the rides are dictated by the park - not the manufacturer. I am very certain if a park wanted a B&M Hyper to pull 4.5 or 5G's they could get them to do it. But most parks dont want anything too extreme.
Look to Alton Towers for what theyve gotten B&M to do. Also Dueling Dragons with IOA. Theres a few other parks out there who have gotten "softer" companies to draw up what well call an unusual ride when it might just be a ride theyd rather design.
Look at Stengel! The rides that he has been given the most control over are some of his, if not, most intense. Then you look at the rides in which the park mostly dictated his moves and force wise they are so-so.
Im not saying to go nuts and hold 6 G's for 2 seconds at every drop. Just dont let people say that because a ride style doesnt pull more than 4.5 that you cant push it up to even 5. Seriously, that half a G if held for the same duration wont be much difference.
