If I could, John McCain. I'll add one to the poll anyway, I'll get someone closeby that wasn't planning on voting to use my vote instead.

Go Obama!
McCain's too old, too bush-like, and Obama plans to turnaround our country's economy. If I was 18 I would choose Obama.

This will eventually become a huge rant anyways, so I might as well start off by saying both candidates seem like total crooks to me... Neither one of them appeals in any way to what I think would make a decent president.

Because of all the pointless drama, and his bad ideas to make extreme gun control laws, McCain. Seriously if gangs can't get a hold of guns we might as well put laws on baseball bats now.

Barrack Obama is a joke. And most of the people that are voting for him are voting for him because he is black; they cover that up by saying..."he is going to change this..and going to change that...PLEASE when he steps one foot into the white house he will sit on his a$$ all day and not do s**t. It is funny how Obama says he is going to turn our economy around when it was John McCain who is actively participating in bringing our gas prices down. And that is the biggest thing hurting our economy because everybody has to spend their money on gas. So lets sit back and look at what Obama says and see if it is realistic. I truly don't believe that he will do all of what he says he is going to do in 4 years.

LOL

Do you think Bush did everything he said he'd do in 4 years, let alone 8? Do you think McCain will accomplish everything he is saying in 4 years? No politician achieves what they want while in office.

I'm voting for the man because he what appears to be the best choice for what I want in office. Not because he is black. And you're right, if Obama is elected he is going sit on his ass all day. What do you think Bush is doing right now?

yes, the price of gas is hurting our economy, but, gas is the problem, not the price of it. mccain wants to lower the prices, hell, if anything, they should be highered, with a higher tax on them that is put towards the development of things to get us off gas. the big problem with this country is that the oil companies and detroit have been with each other too long with too much influence.

anyways, you can't vote, so unfortunately your opinion doesn't 'technically' matter [lol][;)]

Lower gas prices will only make the problem worse. I feel like cheap gas is the reason why no one has seriously bothered with alternatives to oil on a large scale in the US yet. Once oil becomes even more expensive people will realize that they need to find cheaper ways to get things like electricity and transportation.

BTW I'm voting for Obama in the fall. Even though he wasn't my first choice of the Dems at the beginning of the race I could never bring myself to vote for McCain and another 8 years of the Neocons.

haha! I really could care less for who wins. I honestly could say Hillary was better than both. And I've met Hillary, so it would have been cool having met the president :).

McCain doesn't understand what is going on in Iraq and CONSTANTLY switches around facts about the area. I'm not huge with the whole bandwagon of change crap but I WILL NOT vote for someone who can't keep little things like that straight. McCain is notorious for slipping up and completely switching his position on a topic mid interview. Not I haven't personally served over in Iraq or anything, but hearing about situation over there from friends at school doesn't make it sound like they're making much progress. Yes Saddam was bad, but why are we ignoring South American and African dictators that for the most part worse? The world cannot tolerate a repeat of someone like George Bush. To be fair McCain wasn't like Hillary where she just said whatever the particular region would like and melded her ideas slightly to fit the area, but come the hell on. The only people worse than McCain in this race were Huckabee and Hillary and thankfully they're out of it.

I get pissed when I have to hear from a couple friends at school about how the GI Bill is screwing them in the ass for their service in Iraq where they watched a couple buddies die and the war was all for WMD's that didn't even exist. What is McCain gonna do to lower gas prices? Unless he cuts the small taxes on gas (it ain't a ton of the price) OPEC is going to tell him to boil a dildo and put it on the windowsill to cool. Just because you idiots read about how they've found oil under the Grand Canyon or something doesn't mean that they can get to it.

I really don't like McCain, butthat doesn't mean I have boarded this bandwagon of change crap for Obama. I don't really buy into that but looking at my options I'll go with the guy who managed not to screw up Illinois as a senator. Thank god Blagovich isn't running for president. If we weren't involved in the Iraq War I'd say Blagovich managed to out dunce Bush.

What is so bad about his firearms policy? Personally I think the USA should have the same gun laws Germany has. It has worked out rather well for them. You don't need an assault rifle, and you all need to understand that gangs will get whatever they want no matter what laws are in place. If you ban all guns that doesn't mean gangs won't have access to them. They'll get them and continue to use them. If you like hunting for fun I don't really want to listen to you bitch because hunting is FOR GETTING FOOD. You don't kill animals "for sport" or whatever. Find something else to make your penis bigger like a jacked up F350. Oh wait...

And Cade, as far as someone not doing crap. I recall Mr. Bush spends more time on vacation at his crappy ranch in Texas than at the White House. The biggest thing hurting our economy is not gas, it's China. Those of us who don't live in a Fox News bubble know that the prices of metals, especially precious metals like brass and copper have gone to balls in hell land because of China. Lots of work was outsourced from America to China and we have a HORRIBLE trade deficit with them which Bush hasn't done a whole lot to even address much less fix. I DO NOT know a whole ton about politics and I'm waiting for the inevitable Tconwell republican slant which will probably make me look kinda dumb because it'll actually be slightly researched unlike captain Fox News over here but jesus christ get out and explore the world a little bit.

Sorry to disappoint you Matt.

I am a staunch Republican and have been always. However, my concern right now is as a homeowner and family man what is the economy going to do? This one item, really has me looking at the Democratic party because they are the only ones talking about it. Truly, what we have now is simply not working for the middle-class average Joe like me -- and I need for things to be different.

Even with my full military retirement and another income (my wife's and the church salary), if things remain as they are -- its beginning to feel like a vice grip around my throat and my wallet.

to an EXTENT, they do have control already over pretty much everything. rules and regulations, etc. gas mileage should be a no brainer. many other countries already make it mandatory to be in the 30s or 40s. and this country already is corrupt, has been for decades. how do you think anything gets done in washington, and the way it gets done?

Out of curiosity is military screwing you? My friends on the GI Bill have noticed unless you're at community college it won't pay for everything. I go to a relatively cheap state school in comparison to most 4 year colleges and the military kids have GREAT difficulty paying for everything. It seems it's not possible to go to a "good" or "excellent" school on the GI Bill.

I've never been in the military. Please tell people I got herpes from a nailclipper or something not the military. The last thing you want to do is have people accuse you of pretending to be serving/a veteran.
