How much are gas prices where you are (in gallons)? I thought it would be interesting to see where everyone fits.

They're around $4.45 here- Upstate New York :(

1 US gallon = 3.78541178 litre

And we pay 1.55 euros per litre here. So that is 5.87 euro per gallon, which at this moment is 9.10 dollar per gallon....

.....and all of that due to taxes!

Shiz, and I thought I had it bad.

But none the less, Gas prices has gone up so dramatically the last couple of months here that it's a real problem for commuters especially since 45% of my salary goes to government tax already. Excluding pension and life insurance. [V]

well the reason why we say anything, is because were used to about 3 dollars flat.
then the prices jumped up so fast, and wages didnt, so it just started getting hard for people to pay for gas.
so its not thats were just complaining to complain, were talking about the rate at which gas prices are increasing.
for as long as i could remember, ive heard that gas prices have always been higher over in europe then over here, so im not saying anything bad, and correct me if ive said anything wrong.

I remember living in florida 9 years ago, and the prices being under a dollar. We would go everywhere because it was so darn cheap to travel. It's really to bad how the world is turning because of saudi arabia. (they only pay 20 cents or something) :(

agreed. we bitch about the price of it, but it is twice as expensive everywhere else. we should have the high taxes on it, too. 16 cents or whatever it is isn't high enough. add about 3 dollars in front of it.

ok, yes it is cheaper here, im not arguing on that point. its hard on everyone because of how fast the prices went up. people dont have the money to pay for gas that has double in price in the last couple of years. so yes im sorry you guys all have higher prices. but just because its cheaper over here doesnt mean we can drive around and go where ever we want when we want. most people have to pick between driving to one place or the other. idk though, im not trying to fight about it.

^^ Yeah I get your point.
But the prices here are just ridiculous, and then consider that half of it is going to the government who than takes tours around the world to watch the Euros to be in Le Mans the day right after that, Its just pathetic how they're spending that money.
They're just insane, the prices just exploded recent times and yet again the government is even raising the taxes on gas! I don't think it's the oil countries who make the prices go up, they're pumping up more than enough, its just the speculators on the market and the crappy governments that screw you basically.

Damn, I didn't realize Europe was paying THAT much. That's quite crazy. We have about $4.00 to $4.30 here; southeast Michigan. Michigan sucks; our economy is in a recession here, and a while back our state government literally quote "Shut Down". At least we pay half as much as Europe.

I read on Yahoo! that the gas prices are going down because of China or something.
