Hello. Havn't signed in a while (years!). Anyways, it's summer and I have time to play RCT3 for hours and I decided after googling a nolimits reacreation for California Screamin' and found nothing. So i decided to make a reacreation on RCT3 (cause nolimits is still to advanced for me). So far I say the recreation is pretty good (although there are MAJOR Differences). First off, after research, the boosters on the actual ride are in reality at a diagonal so I had to put the boosters at the begining. Second, to have 2 cars I had to put a block break before the bumpy hill part and its stops there. I was going to cut it, but after syncing the audio with the video it actually fit in perfectly. Then I had to pause once more at the end cause the train would go too fast. I know that the reacreation is still not completely done nor completely accurate (i've worked on it for about 10 hours) and I'm not planning on making the whole park. I will try to make the actual park downloadable, but I don't know if it will work for everyone. It Requires soaked and wild and custom scenery packs steelworks, eletricity coaster, frameworks, and more from the forum post above. (sorry, lost count of the ones I used!)Also, I have a custom sign that says california scremin on it, I don't know if that will port either. I'll work on it more.

P.S. If someone that is a 3d model crazy genious person create the tubeing and mickey mouse and port it to rct3 as a custom scenery peice i would GREATLY GREATLY apreciate it. Thanks.

http://rapidshare.de/files/26255512/California_Screamin_.zip.html for the park download and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iy7TVH1dOFY for the video

(also, anybody know if you can embedd the youtube video on this forum?)

I have been on this ride many many many many times and i must say that this 'recreation" needs alot of work. The booster can be made strait ( "turn" the ride). The helixes at the end of the ride are just plain wrong (both in execution and entry. Learn to make rides in no limits because this is just baaaaad.

Well I did my best. no limits is just too complicated. I too have been on the ride many times and I watched a vid that i took on-ride tons of times. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=disneyland&ie=UTF8&t=k&om=1&ll=33.804774,-117.921529&spn=0.002024,0.005407 if you look at the airel the boosters are indeed in a diagonal in rct3 sence. The ending helix is wrong, but I didn't know exactly how many times it turned. Like I said, I havn't worked on it for a long time and I just wanted a reaction. I'll develope it more. (Is it really that bad? Well compared to other peoples attempts I say it's alright.http://www.visionsfantastic.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-7678.html)

I will give you credit for being way freakin better then the no limits "re-creation" that was done (gives me chills). Mainly the reason why the ride wont work very well is because its naturally built diagonally in an RCT sense, there for your best bet would be to either make it in the ludicrusly difficult No limits or Ultimate ride

http://www.rollercoasterpro.com/gallery ... _i19.shtml heres a pic of the helix. As you can see, it's a huge helix that would be considered the "longest" curve on RCT (only going on an upward curve). The music also doesn't sync well due to the fact that the actuall ride music for the real ride doesn't sync, they're going to try to sync it with either a new song or a editied version of the current song. Off to trying harder. Also, at the endo of the bumby hills it curves again http://www.rollercoasterpro.com/gallery ... _i18.shtml that's why entry is wrong, i tried to recreate it. And if the version of nolimits california screamin gave you chills, http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MCSJ5N2R , this vid will give you nightmares. Cheers!

because that is really the last thing you should do with NL, the track will be bumpy as hell and you're much better of starting from scratch

not only that, when porting rct tracks to nl they almost double in size. i'll try it though. thing is, i also want sceneary and in nl you have to make each one.

Ok, I made a new vid with an update coaster. I hope people think this is more accurate. If your wondering why the supports are not done, it's because I was making them by hand and those supports consume alot of time. Anyways, hope you like the update. Enjoy!
