i never thought about that, i thought that maybe you could use sort of water blasters to push you further round the loop, and a sort of failsafe trapdoor device just in case it fails, foolproof!

The Action Park slide actually had a trap door just for that situation. I wonder if they ever had to use it?

Ehh that's a wussy loop. It's tilted. And I hate the fact that it is COMPLETELY closed in. I would probably have a convulsive seizure being enclosed and in water.

Well you could fall and seriously get seriously hurt or go around the loop not being able to tell the difference while it's tilted.

well from an engineering stand point you CAN make it work.

but like Deja Vu, it would be one over-engineered piece of machinery that would require quite a bit of maintenance more so than any other current existing waterslide.

you'd essentially have to have to mechanisms.

one jet/something at the bottom of the valley to take backfill water in case the power of the water from the top would fail to push the rider fully through. the bottom mechanism would take out the water i nthe backfill so that you can 'restart' the system.

If the system was reliable enough, and it can be, the ride can work.

I personally think they should use a funnel tube thing...you know those tires that you sit on in some rides...that way the friction might me a little less...because as some one mentioned earlier people like sit up and stop in the middle of the ride...and to do that here...uhh..I don't think it would ed up pretty...
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.
