The park opened at 10am and closed at 6.30pm. I was expecting it to be open later on, as usually in the summer its open until 10pm, however i think its because the schools have still not broken up for the summer.
EVERYTHING WAS A WALK ON - which was good, as there are a lot of rides to get on in a short space of time
Amazing arrrrrow awesomeness
First ride of the day was the Big Dipper, which has been in operation since 1923 and still offers a reasonably smooth ride.
Look at the man picking his nose, i didnt mean to take that i wanted you to look at:
The Pleasure Beach's newest edition, the standard SLC "Infusion" relocated from Southport. They boast continually about it being the only suspended rollercoaster being ENTIRELY OVER WATER!
We are now on the 1st ride of the day: Tunnnnnel of Doom. Nah its just the Big Dipper tunnel. Yes those are tiny children in front, they ran quicker than me.
Me and my sister on the Big Dipper.
Headchopper! You can actually touch it with your hand.
This is the 1st picture of many for you Lift Hill enthusiasts!
Taken from the Big Dipper Lift Hill, you can see the Avalanche (a Mack Bobsled), the Irn Bru Revolution (Arrow Shuttle Loop) and in the distance Space Invader 2 (Zierer 4 Man Bob).
This is the image of the day: Infusions Sidewinder of Dooooooom.
Can the kids even see what's happening?!
Infusion was the 2nd ride of the day, queue time: 5 mins. I got sprayed with salt water :/
I would say this is the most powerful element in terms of vertical g force in the entire circuit. Feel free to disagree, there are many of these coasters around... BUT NOT OVER A MASSIVE POOL OF SEA WATER!!
Lift hill nerd shot.
Me and my sister again, front row goodness. You wouldn't want to ride at the back!
I took this one because of the SWAMP BUGGIES, not the Big One, the SWAMP BUGGIES.
If you want some Pepsi Max Big One facts, it's 3.5G (yay!), 213ft Arrow Hyper. If you ride, you
will
be battered.Do you sell new Barr's Irn Bru?!...... You do?!..... WELL, that's marvellous!
Bling, without a doubt the best flat ride I've ever ridden. It is DA BOMB.
Thats me, there, the one with the white socks, big feet
Loop-de-loop, as the general public call it.
ZOMG LIFT HILL SHOT POV! (That is "Roller Coaster" btw)
Roller Coaster's Layout, its an out and back woodie, opertating since 1933. 61ft high, maximum speed of 35mph!!!
Flying Machines, i believe it was built in 1904. Correct me if i am wrong... Gazag, any ideas?
The Grand National, its very hard to get any photos of the layout, so unfortunately i'll just have to please the lift hill enthusiasts. It is a mobius coaster, which has been operating since 1935. It recently got new PTC trains which caused it to actually become very rough, however today i thought it had improved significantly. Perhaps the new trains are finding their groove.
Valhalla: The most amazing water ride i have ever been on, and i've been on a few, even american ones don't compare. 3 drops, 1 backwards. An ICE COLD freezer room, a FIRE room. A smokey room, all viking themed. You will never get this wet.
You go into the big skull mouth, and its really scary, so you scream! AHHHH
Proof of wetness.
Wild Mouse AKA Hell for all parts of the body.
Wild Mouse over pavement.
An example of just how lethal the hills are. You will die.
4G arrow shuttle Loop! Just look at the odd placement of the ties.
AVALANCHE! My mum and dad are in the front 2 cars. Having funn.
Where else in the world can you get UNDER an arrow loop?!
I love the Big One, we rode it twice, you wouldnt want to ride it anymore than twice in one trip. It's fun to look at though...
The worlds last remaining steeplechase! It's hilarious, but make sure you go on the horses in pairs, its no fun on your own.
Beginning to round off the day now, some final shots of Infusion and the Big Dipper.
Beautiful photo, if i do say so myself.
Panorama!

All in all it was a fantastic day out, everything had a very short queue, but you never feel as though you can keep riding the rides at Blackpool, they are tiring and often very rough. Blackpool always provides an entirely different take on rollercoasters to Alton Towers.
