I am trying to reciave some files from a friend of mine. The file are 6.5 to 7.5 gigs in size. There to big for our emails and to put on a CD.Is there any way to send/copy them. Thanks
a flash drive is quick and easy, although it is a tad expensive.
But hey, let's say that a cheap, blank, Staples (or any office supply store) CD holds 500 MB (I have a box of 400MB CDs by my side).
A box of 50 is about $30 (=15 quid)
So yea, to lay out the options:
A flash drive is double or triple the price, but can hold all of the files at once.
CDs are about half the price of flash drives, but the files have to be separated on different CDs.
Depending on the nature of the files, you may want to use one or the other.
If it's just pictures/music/videos, you can break it up easily (go for CDs)
If it's something more complex, like programming or encoding, go for a flash drive.
I'm guessing that CDs are better for what you're trying to do.
