Motion Simulator Track Contest - Sponsored by InMotion Simulation

Background: InMotion Simulation manufactures motion simulators and will be placing a 4-seat roller coaster simulator at http://www.freedomstationfun.com/ in late August. InMotion's simulators are compatible with NoLimits Coaster and they are looking for new tracks for the customer. To see a sample video of what the result will be check out this video: Click Me!

Contest Guidelines:
Must be made using NoLimits Coaster
1. No loops or Corkscrews (nothing over 120 degrees).
2. Steel or Woodie Non Inverted Track Style.
3. Min length of 8,000 feet, Max length 15,000 feet (the longer the better).
4. Launch lift preferred over chain lifts.
5. Max track speed must be at least 90 MPH.
6. Aggressive track style, quick turns from left to right and vice versa.
7. Scenery design and interaction is a must and a main focus of the contest.
8. Use custom scenery, 3D models, bright colors a plus for track and scenery.
9. Scenery must include Freedom Station's logo (http://www.freedomstationfun.com/). Their logo should be on the cars and building where the ride starts.
-Link to logos: http://www.freedomstationfun.com/logos.htm
10. Must be fun in an actual motion simulator.
11. All entries are due by August 11, 2008 (winners will be announced within 24 hours).
11. Date changed to August 18, 2008
Thank you.

--new edit--
Track Theme:
Freedom Station's logo is a train (see their website). It's highly recommended that you use a train theme in the track and car design. For example, the station where the cars depart and arrive should probably resemble a train depot of some type. And the cars should have the customer's logo on it along with a paint scheme that looks like a train.
--end new edit--

Prize Money:
1st - $100 USD
Each additional track used by InMotion - $50 / track
US residents will be sent a check
Non-US residents will receive an online gift card of their choice
(Note: InMotion will own any track it pays for and can be used commercially)

Progress Monitoring:
Contestants are encouraged to post a YouTube video or screenshot images on their website so that InMotion can monitor their progress and give feedback of their track design. It is important to provide this.

All tracks should be uploaded to the exchange with the track name followed by InMotion. example, if your track is called Super Ride, upload titled like this: Super Ride - InMotion
This makes it quick and easy for us to check them out.
Any questions or comments please post them in this contest topic.

You can't be serious. He said originally minimum 100 mph. So I did 102. And now you say max 90, and my track is finished.

After thinking about this, i would give it a try. I am concerned about the prizes for the non-US residents though, can they not pay you through paypal or something instead?

When we upload, can we use the track packager, or should we just put the objects in a folder?

i'm confused about the speed thing. Do you mean that the coaster's top speed should be above 90 MPH?

^^Well, originally it was to be a minimum speed of 100 mph, so it looks like that top speed's been moved down to 90 mph.

Building something this big could be a whole lot of fun, so methinks I'll give it a go. Would it be all right to do a wooden coaster, or do they really just want boring old steel ones?

I'm confused. Didn't he say wooden coasters were fine in the other topic? Why are they not all of the sudden?

I'm pretty sure that's what he means. I talked to Oscar about it.

alton_, I'll ask if they can pay through paypal for Non US residents.
Austin, track packager is allowed.
hyyyper, top speed should be abve 90mph.
Eelover, what do you have in mind? Send me a private message.
Kevin Brennan, No wooden coasters, spice up the steel one with tons of quick turns, ups, down, make it fun and use scenerey that the coaster can interact with.
Austin, they were fine before but not anymore. There was a change in mind and it has been set to steel only.
RULE CHANGE
Rule 9 was edited, please see the first post for the updated rule.

Sweet. A massive runaway train was exactly what I had in mind ;)

I'll post a dev page whenever I get enough of it done to bother showing.
