I try to hand out good rates, say 5 or so a week. They can actually be fun sometimes, depending on how bored you are. When I have nothing better to do on a rainy day, I'll try and be more active and fun on the site. I do agree with TMV that this site is becoming a little dull, but it still has its moments. From now on I'll try and up my ratings. Heck I'm going to rate every coaster uploaded this week.[8D]

yeah, but rates also help people get better so we dont have all these "noobs". if your not a d!ck with your rates, then you can really help some people out.

I have absolutely no problem handing out rates, but when I do, I expect them in return, which is what I never get. That's what I find frustrating with this issue. Other than that, I think the site's doing fine.

yeah, i think we should be forced to rate, but like, once a week, and you can BLAM coasters, like you can blam flash on newgrounds, if it sux, the coaster is removed. also if you don't have the time to do a full on rate then you can ride, click the numbers then perhaps do a proper rate later, or just leave it at that. that way people wouldn't be like" that was a cool coaster, but i can't be fu*ked to rate, meh i'll just leave it" like on light speed, i spent ages on that thing, not a single freaking rate.

Forced rates can work but at least give some of the guys a break by making it a once a month process. Some of us actually have a life other than CoasterCrazy.com.

When I rate, I try to point out critical issues and key points with the track. Instead of just saying: ?????????The ride was great, originality was awesome, but technically not so good." kind of bullshiz!.

this is kinda weird.now nobody on the staff pm's people back......u can never get your own contest going,cause the staff never looks at them,trust me i know,becuase 2 staff members still have not pm'd me back about a contest.and all these dumb topics about phones and stuff,this website is for coasters not phones and dumb stuff.i think we should all right a complaint about this and keep on till someone replys.and about the coaster contest,they do not need to say wierd stuff like thers too many,..........i think that lots of us would like too make are own contest,and im sure people would be fine doing 2 or 3 contests at a time i mean there not that hard.and wats with these 50's and 80 year olds bieng members,and not even doing anyhting.i think anybody who makes a account atleast has to do something on the site.

If you checked your emails then you would know why your stuff is not getting posted. If you wrote correctly so that you can be understood, then we can communicate. There are a lot of factors why you are having problems. Maybe confused about the website you're on, since you're not part of the old days since you signed up on July 6, 2008. I'm not picking on you or putting you dowsn, just bringing out some facts. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Honestly, I didn't get better because of ratings. I got better because I got lucky in friends that are better than me and were willing to pass that stuff down.

If you want to get better at designing, find some screennames and stalk until the help comes out.

I don't feel like rating has anything to do with why you think the site is dulling down. It's summer. People party hard.
