i miss the days before "mini tylers"

Activity is down, but I think it has more to do with the fact that the original core of designers is slowly fading into this thing called "real life." It happens. In your teens, you tend to obsess over designing, and be on the computer for hours at a time doing nothing but building, but as you get into 20's and 30's, it just begins losing its appeal as work, relationships, and other hobbies surface. Plus, NoLimits is turning 7 years old this fall, so it's not the newest and greatest thing to play with and obsess over anymore, like it was in this site's infancy. Just wait, though. I'm willing to bet that when NL2 comes out, a lot of designers will come back out of the woodworks.

i rate when i get the time as im an extreamly busy person. ill try to do better though and rate some more noobish coasters

I agree with cjd, I certainly spend a lot more time doing other stuff and even when I'm not, that tends to be what my mind is on, so it's difficult to get into a project. As a result, it's like 6 months to a year between me uploading one of my coasters, when "back in the day" I was uploading at LEAST one a week.

well i personally have just discovered the wonders of AHG which have opened up a whole new world in designing. I am 14, however, which means i have a helluva lot of time on ma hands, yet i still never seem to get alot done.

theres somthing too, the old times alot of us were alot younger now weve grown up and have less time for NL even though we still love it.
