Weird experiences or wierd things you nostice about what you like hate on coasters.

(example)

Ive got 5.

Ive noticed i either like super g-force on coasters like alpengiests cobra or light g forces like the ones on arrow loopers. While in between isnt as fun.

I think coasters have to be atleast a bit rough and rumbly. If theyre to smooth there less exciting. (i like griffon better now then when opened)

I get butterflies down most of arrow looper drops. But rarely on superman ros SFNE or any B&M

Once i rode griffon and went strait to alpengeist. In line i started getting nausious. I dicided to still go on[dunno]. I started up the lift and suddenly felt fine.

I get a bit nausious sometimes on the boat rides that go upsidown. oh well, love the hangtime.

personally i agree with the arrow looper butterfly thing. every time i go to cedar point, corkscrew is the only drop that gives my the flies. well, maverick kinda does too, but nothing else does.

I get nautious on those spinning pirate ship type rides. Like the Tomahawk at SFNE, I just can't do those. Pirate Ships are fine though.

Also, you're right about the arrow drops, I feel a lot the same way. I never lose my stomache on intamins or b and m's. Except for Dueling Dragons, Fire, I seem to lose my stomache on the first drop all the time. Its got a little kick in it or something.

i dont know about anybody else, but I noticed that on Canyon Blaster @ Adventure Dome in Las Vegas, I noticed that if your sitting in the back seat, you lose your vision on both of the loops. kinda weird...
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

The constant forces on my feet on alpengeist make them hurt a lot and if my head is down, somtimes you can black out for a little bit.

For me on Flight Deck at California's Great America, the helix after the loop. Everything goes black and white all the way through the zero-g roll and then it ends.

Haha yes, that is the truth. That helix got me every single time I rode it. Then you cant forget the helix on Goliath at SFMM. I also tend to black out on Xcelerator also.

I found powder kegs launch ALOT more forceful than top thrill dragsters.
Trim breaks are your enemy, retracking/smoothing is your friend. I miss b&m floored sit downs. coaster count=39

I have never, ever blacked out. I don't even know why. It sounds like fun.

Weird experience... Hmm...

I went on Mean Streak, during the rain, and it was very boring, forceless, and normal. Contrary to popular belief.

I know a few people from my Marching Band that were stuck in an E Stop on Raptors lift.

^By the way, B and M, Top Thrills launch is not the strongest. I calculated it out once, it was like 1.3 accel g's.
X2 ??? Intimidator 305 ??? Millennium Force ??? Iron Rattler ??? El Toro ??? Fury 325 ??? Maverick ??? Skyrush ??? Twisted Timbers ??? Voyage

I think the Vekoma Boomerang's track is smooth.
Go ride the one in Wiener Prater, it's actually a very awesome ride!

I've quite often noticed that after going on spinning flat rides I can feel a bit sick, one time I was very nearly sick while joining the queue for Nemesis after getting off Dynamo (was a crazy spinning flat ride at Alton Towers). But as soon as I was on Nemesis I felt really fine again, like the movement of going through the inversions and stuff actually cured my motion sickness [confused]

When I was a bit younger, I used to get what I called "delayed motion sickness". Everytime I went to a theme park, that night when I was lying in bed, I would begin to feel as if I was moving like I was on a coaster and after about 5 minutes of this, I would feel very ill and eventually be sick! Strange!

I have gotten three experiences on rides. The Mind Eraser at Six Flags Worlds of Adventure is one. When i got off that ride, I immediately got a headache.
On the Corkscrew at Cedar Point, I banged my head really hard on the cast-iron headrest at the base of the loop. I've hated the ride ever since. On Magnum XL-200's bunny hills, I always bang my legs on the lap bars because of the airtime.

MY brother refuses to ride to many when he goes because he say he has that at night happens and hates it.

You know how differnt coaster companys feel different the way the wheels ride on the track.like b&ms coasters all feel rumbly but the tracking is smooth so theres no headbanging. And on intamin the wheels running on the track feel sort of shakey and rumbly but no headbang. Example-

You can visibly see it shake a little bit.

Arrows wheels run smooth as glass (headbang on some transitions)
Different types have a different feeling texture is what i mean.

Well after riding almost only B&Ms all day a BGE. that texture was in my head i got that same effect without the nauseau.

I once managed to get my arm out of the car on Magic mountain (Vekoma looper). I didn't push my restraint all the way down, just becouse I wanted to do that...
Well, I'm not going to do it again, since I almost lost my hand at the entrance to the loop. I put it away the last second.

It's really weird, hov Vekoma loopers fail tunneltest at entrances to the loops... Imagine, what would happen if they changed the trains, for some, that actually allow you to move!

Well I saw Maverick roll back on the lift and I have it on film, but that's about the only weird thing that's ever happened to me.

Grabbed a branch on the Runaway Train GRC. (Probably traveling at 15 km/h there)

Hit my hand against some sort of black curtain thing on the Golden Loop as the train reaches its 91 km/h through a little wooden house. Instantly went into the fetal position right after that and was stuck there all the way through the loop????????? Bad Move?????????

i agree with all of you about the arrow drop thing... i get it every time...[shocked]

also, i have something else to share with you... i was on raging bull and i threw a penny off the side while starting the first drop [peakhill] and hit someone on the path and killed them... HAHA!!![devilish]

O DEAR GOD NO, I'm just kiddin' about that!! (Thank God, or else I'd be in jail...)
[:O][shocked]

.....But seriously, I did throw one off [approve][^] and then I went on Viper so I could find the penny afterwards... so I looked and I found it by where I threw it (off the right side of the track) stuck halfway in the ground!!!! [:D]

[lol][lol]
