Oh dear! 3 inches! what a tragedy!
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Just be glad your not doing safety check in the snow. God forbid you have to go out with a 14lber and smash ice of the brakes.

Snow is nice until people walk/drive through it and it becomes the blackkish salt/sludge mixture.

Agreed. Or when it comes at a time it's not supposed to. See: Ohio's Blizzard of '08. It came in like the middle of April. Only a week or two before the latest snow in Ohio's history. But other than that, I enjoy looking at snow when it's the right amount and it's not gross.

Also agreed. Not to mention the cheap asses up here decide to mix the salt with tiny fragments of glass or something that kinda just sits there untill a sweeper comes by.

Lol, that winter was horrible. I had like 4 inches of ice. Last years snow storm I got almost two feet of snow but no ice.
This is not my signature.

Snow is fine until you realize that the a-hole that shoveled their sidewalk didnt salt it to get rid of the ice underneath.....

People in Texas freak out when it snows, they think they are invincible in their four wheel drive pickups and SUVs and thus you will see idiots doing 70 on ice just before they plow up the wall and do a roof slide through the toll both. Its just for that reason that its dangerous as hell to be out on the roads when it snows, and perhaps the main reason they close the schools if it even looks like its going to snow. Last year we got quite a bit of snow (ok mainly ICE) in Dallas, and I managed to survive with front wheel drive only.

Man, you just hate snow because you don't snowboard! To me, winter is hands down the best season.

Snowboarders are complete jerks. They always run over little kids learning to ski for the first time because they think that they are somehow above the rules of the mountain (speaking from multiple childhood traumas).

I love how cold it is at the moment here, my thermometer read -11C this morning when I got up and it's set to get colder. Winter is definitely my favourite time of year, even if people do look at me weird when I'm still wearing my sleeveless top [lol]

I like the look of the snow, it makes for a very pretty scene, but we never get enough snow in this country to make all the hype that goes on actually worth it. As soon as one snow drop falls here, everyone is all "OMG! IT'S CHAOS! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!".... why is this? There is a light dusting of snow here in Wolverhampton, the roads were very icy, but I drove here to work absolutely fine... why all the fuss? God forbid that the snow might falll like it does in somewhere like Finland. What would we all do then!? [lol]

One step further:

I absolutely love the way really fresh cold air feels on the skin, so as much of the skin exposed as possible, the better. Core temperature can drop quite quickly though, so obviously I'd wear a bit more if I was going to be out for hours and hours. But walking from one place to another, or playing football, or having a snowball fight, definitely sleeveless or topless.

The first snow of the year is fun. After that winter sucks and lasts way too long. I can't wait to move out of the midwest.
