Most recent new movies I've seen have been Superbad and American Gangster, both great movies. I also watched The Mechanist a couple weeks ago, that's a really good one too, Christian Bale is amazing.

THE DARK KNIGHT - 10/10..EASILY!

I saw The Dark Knight twice this weekend and have to say it is easily one of the best movies I have ever seen. Unlike Spiderman 3, The Dark Knight lives up to and fully deserves it's hype.

Heath Ledger as the Joker is completely mesmerizing. The rest of the cast is terrific, as they were in Begins, but Heath steals the show in every scene he's in. I couldn't help but feel pangs of sadness and some points. Ledger was obviously a VERY talented actor.

If you haven't seen The Dark Knight....you're missing out!

Two-face was unrealistic, in my opinion.

true, good CGI job, but a burn victim couldn't look like that... i don't care how much oil is on your face.

I agree. He resembled the Mummy to me. I also thought that they should have saved Two-Face for the thrid movie. The Joker is such a strong, classic villain that he could easily carry a movie on his own. Not including Two-Face would have cut the running time by about 30 minutes, making it a more suitable length. This is just being nitpicky and by no means diminished the films excellence, but I feel that Two-Face, a classic sympathetic villain deserved more screen time. The last couple scenes should have included the ace-in-the-hole Joker speech and Harvey's first murder in the bar where he says "half" and takes a shot.

Just my two cents.

PS - the Joker/hospital scenes and the interrogation scenes were absolutely stunning.

The Dark Knight 10/10: Joker was awesome, but I agree that they should have saved Two Face for the next movie.

Journey to the Center of the Earth: 8/10 If you go see this one, pay the extra money for the 3D version. It's the best thing about the movie, well, besides the girl of course. The story was ok, but when things start shooting out at you, you'll find yourself ducking out of the way and reaching out to grab things. Much better than the old Red/Blue Glasses.

The Dark Knight.

If only they made the ride as good as the film.

i saw the dark knight too, 5/5 IF you see it as a completely different movie to the others, but very annoying when you think "why was two-face killed so quickly?" but i was talking to my friend about it and we thought "well they never physically said he was dead" so perhaps a comeback in the third? and heath as the joker OWNED the movie, amazing acting. He made me feel like he could be real. the person playing batman... I'm not so sure. He wasn't as good as he could have been, but still pretty good y'know?

I saw Vantage Point a couple nights ago. Its actually worth it too. Its interesting how the plot unfolds over time. Keeps you on your toes.

And last night I saw Drillbit Taylor, which was pretty good. Not as funny as I expected, but i love seeing punk kids like that bully get owned. I only wish Drillbit would have done more to the kid, a couple kicks and a punch or two didn't serve enough justice.

I knew Step Brothers was gonna be amazing, Will Ferrell and Will Ferrell #2 in the same movie? Haha, it honestly doesn't get much funnier than the first sleepwalking scene...[lol][lol]

Pineapple Express, I don't even know what to say! The whole movie was a giant roflcopter. GO SEE IT. NOOW.

I know it's a really lame movie, but I watched Strange Wilderness a while ago. My god, I just couldn't stop laughing. If you like that really lame humor, then watch it :)
