Try hitting CTRL + F9 at the same time, it MIGHT work.

No on my Mac there is a special application that lets you take images of whats on the screen. The application is called "Grab." I don't think this works on Windows though.

press the key above the insert button, known as PrintScrn.
then load paint or word and "paste"

You have to paste it in paint BTW otherwise it won't do anything but copy what you have on the screen.

I agree, print screen works best. Save it as a jpg and if you have a image editing program like Photoshop you can go really creative with your screenshot, that's what I use to create mine.

I have read 40 pages trying to find this answer. I have tried pressing control+F9 but it doesn't seem to work. I also tried using K key. When pressing K key i get a msg. on screen that says screenshot saved but when I look in the folder for screenshots there is nothing there. When using the prnt sreen key where is the image sent?

when you hit print screen, open up your favorite graphics editing program, click new file and then hit control +v and it should be pasted in there.

I use a program called MW Sanp.
It's really good.
It can reconize a certain area/window, a single square, any size, and a full desktop.
You can also save the pcture as many different file types.
I have the same problem that you do with print screen.

Heres a link to the download (it's free!):

ONE THING FOR VISTA USER!!!
ive helped out someone before, cause i too have vista.
for anyone who has taken screen shots in the simulator, and none of them showed up.
when you have the screenshots folder open, thers a button above the section where the pictures should be that says compatibility files, you click that, and there ya go, all the pictures youve taken should be right there.
i used to have to ask people for my shots, but one day i randomly click that button, and they all popped up, it was great.
haha, hope that helps someone, i know ive told people before somewhere on the site.
