Hello folks, as most of you know I'm working on a ride called LSD. no worries, its just on hold for a while. So in the mean time, i started a new ride, which will be known as juniper...

Juniper began as an idea for a floorless coaster that was somehow different from the rest. How do you make a floorless coaster different from the rest? well. you try new things that haven't been done before. Juniper does many things, and to some, may have a controversial layout. Beginning with an 80 degree drop, this floorless provides a steeper drop than any other floorless. Another feature is airtime, as unrealistic as it is, i thought it would be bad ass to have a floorless with airtime. Piss and moan all you want about "how it should be" but be warned, it isn't gonna get you anywhere. This thing has an air hill, pulling -1.2 g's, and thats not gonna change. The ride will also feature 4 inversions, including a rather strange immelman.

Support work is almost finished, and as you can see, i am using symbiotics clifford env. with permission from the man himself.

here's some pics. knock yourselves out.

ok one more thing, don't be expecting some mind blowing amazingly smooth fvd class ride here. Its tooled to my best ability, and its not completely pump free. I'm not in this for some glorious 9.00 rate. i could care less if i get a 2... the point of this ride was just for my own self indulgence. It was fun as hell to build, and it looks great to me.

any comments or opinions or constructive criticism is absolutely welcome.

Actually, I agree with the -1.2 airtime thingy...
It should be fun, no matter if realystic, or not. Just make sure to list it under fantasy...

And yeah, I dig that blue color...

why list it under fantasy? -1.2 seems realistic to me. who cares if a G force like that occurs on a b&m. it could be done realistically.

Edit: uhh thanks for diggin the colors, Erik, should have it up by next week hopefully. Oh and one more thing about the g force. No b&m floorless actually hits -1.2, but it would be possible and realistic. so, technically the ride is still realistic

my helix supports are based off of Hollywood dream. or what ever that Japanese mini hyper is called. The helix is ever so slightly decreasing in radius, and that seemed to be the only thing that worked.

DAYUM!!! that ride is really sexy actually. The support work is fantastic and the colors are really too. The enviroment is nice aswell. Keep up updated, and throw some 3D's in there to really spice up the ride.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

I suck at 3ds, and unless anyone wants to do some rocks and a custom station for me, 3ds is out of the option... volunteers???

I'm really looking to improve on my 3ds skills. Could I attempt a custom station for you? If you don't like the final look of it then you don't have to use it. The only thing I can't do is the gates for the individual seats. Other than that I think I could make something really cool.

^^^ that sounds like fantastic, although I'm not sure if the ride is really worth the work. its truly just mediocre at best. Its up to you if you wanna make one anyways.

that was to you .... "CP-Soad"

However, I do have another person who offered (never herd of him/her before, but he/she says they are experienced and can do a full out station with great detail... so, how about you do the station to my next ride? I should have a b&m hyper on the way with help from vid w. No offense, but i would like someone with experience, however help is very appreciated, so thanks a ton.

I still really love that color scheme. It's just absolute brilliance, in my opinion.

That sounds fine with me, I'll just keep playing with Sketchup and NoLimits until the time comes..
