Yes, I cant believe i'm saying this but i'm going to try a Diamondback (PKI's new B&M) Concept. Basically i'll be going off layout pics, the videos, and the webcams once it gets to that point. Because its a concept and i'll need to use the webcams, it wont be done until some where around between thanksgiving and new years.

I'll get more info once i start!

wow, i really hate to do this to you, but that lift is much steeper than that, in fact, if you haven't already, go to youtube and put in diamondback roller coaster and it will give you some animated roller coaster POV's and offride videos of the coaster so that you can actually get a better feel for what the coaster is going to look like.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

The lift is a lot steeper, and the station actually sits in a basin, where swan lake used to sit.

asaaa- dont feel bad, i want comments like this. it will only make it better and yes i noticed that right after i posted my pics and its been fixed.

Jackson- there's nothing i can do about the station. SM had premade stations and its either that one or an abstract station and this one fits the ride a lot better

Alright the first drop

One more view of the drop. Steepness ok?

So yeah so far so good i suppose. The only thing that tricking me up right now is how long the turn is. I know its not a complete 90 degree corner, but its more than a 45. Anyone know just how far its supposed to turn?

^If you look at this picture:

You can get a good view of the turn angle

No, I'm talking about the fact that the station is in a small bowl, look at the terrain here:

^Ah i see what your talking about. Yes, i'll do terrain after i finish dont worry. And that picture only helps a little bit but because its taken on an angle its till hard to see. What i really want is an ariel view of the footers that will tell me exactly what i need.

This is not good. In the nicest way possible I recommend to you that you should stop this recreation and practice building your own coasters for a little while. You need to get a much better grasp for Scream Machines and just rollercoasters as a whole in how they work and how they are shaped and everything. The shaping of the top of your lift/drop shows that you have an unexperienced eye for these things. Not a bad thing, just something you need to work on. Also the fact that you think the drop at the bottom of the lift is between 45 and 90 degrees shows that you have a poor understanding of this coaster.

Also it should start turning at the bottom of the first drop and end turnning at the bigining of the second hill, so it shouldn't flatten out at the end.

Unless you have ways to help me FIX my problems, do not bash my work. Yes, it is poorly shaped. Ever heard of rough drafts? I know the SM game well and i know how to edit my work. I can bet i'll be working on this first hill for at least another two weeks so i know its absolutely perfect.

I've been trying to help, usually I don't abandon be rides untill it pulls 5 lateral g's!

Anyway this has some potential, needs some major editing but it has some potential.

In return to my post a couple posts up mr.Necrodude insisted on sending me a private message that said the following:
Dont have a grasp on scream machines? For your information i am very good at scream machines and am very experienced in the game.

Secondly Ever heard of a rough draft. You guys wanted me to "post updates often" How often do you get a recreation right on the first try? huh? not too often. Since i know my way around SM i know how to edit my coasters even after theyre finished without scraping it. The other thing is that its a concept coaster NOT a recreation. Has anyone riden it? Does anyone know exactly what all the dimensions are? Have i riden it? Have i seen the real thing? NO i havent and neither have you, sir.

I also have NEVER seen a SM creation by you. I'd like to see one before you start to tell me what i'm doing wrong in my first WEEK of building!

I know some of you will find this very very funny.

To necrodude- Man, you say you are going to work on this drop for 2 more weeks and that I'm crazy for not realizing its a rough draft. I honestly cannot understand why you would post a picture of what you have if you're going to work on it for 2 more weeks. If you really do recognize that the shaping is horrible why are you showing it off?

Also don't say "Unless you have ways to help me fix my problems, don't bash my work". I clearly offered a solution in my previous post: for you to practice more before trying a recreation of such magnitude, or any recreation for that matter. Lastly, I don't need to post a recreation using scream machines, or even own scream machines to tell you that that (from what pictures you've posted) you're work is below par.

[lol][lol] I love this.

Riding a roller coaster doesn't give you the dimensions. And we don't need to ride it to see that what you've put down in work is incorrect. Even if we didn't have pictures of the drop (which we do), we can judge on B&Ms general crest shaping from the past to notice inaccuracies of yours.

I also have NEVER seen a SM creation by you. I'd like to see one before you start to tell me what i'm doing wrong in my first WEEK of building!

You don't need to be good at recreations to know when something is wrong with one.

Fine then. Someone on the staff just throw this whole post away then. Clearly most of you dont care about progress which is what this whole thing is to be about. When i say i'm going to work on it for a few months i mean it. WHen i'm asked to post updates often i will and have and clearly that has been the problem. I am not "showing off" sfmm homie by any means simply showing what i have. If thats not enough for some of you erogant dick heads then i just wont show anything at all.

Jackson- since you seem to be the ONLY one interested in this, i can send you updates via PM if you would still like.

^I would be glad to help you out during this project, I don't know much about SM but I can help a lot in the overall aspects of the ride.

We clearly understand you are motivated to spend much time on this.

You don't have to be a dickhead when people like SFMM generously hand you advice.

I think that the lift crest is a little too broad, and then the start of the drop is a little too sharp (or pinched). And as long as you have fixed the turn (which I think you said you had), then you're ok for now. I wish you luck though recreating it. [hello]

Yes, that is what I mean by "showing off". I didn't mean it in a negative way like you think. My point still stands, why are you "showing what you have" if it's going to be a lot better later? Nobody wants to see you unshaped drop.

And if you truly wish to insult me, "erogant dick head"? Please, that makes you look so stupid when you cant spell.

As it stands, I do, so I can see how he's doing and help him do a better recreation, and if you want to complain about how you don't want to see it than don't read it. I will.
