Like alot of you, I started with building thing with knex and other stuff. But even before that I loved trains. And I think its easy to see the similarity between trains and coasters. But, the focus just on coasters started on my 5th birthday at a small family park called Knoebles. It was me and my dad who stepped into the front car of their wooden coaster: Phoenix. When I got off I was amazed. 2 or 3 years later I was convinced to go on their steel coaster Whirlwind. I was too scared to go on but I worked up the courage to go on. And from then on I would go on anything. But what really made my coaster obsession kick in were the rollercoaster games. I first started out with Sim Theme Park that I got in 1st grade. Then in 2nd grade I got Rollercoaster Tycoon 2. After around 2 years of playing RCT2 I was basically what you could define as "addicted to coasters". I started going to bigger and better parks; starting with Hershey Park and then Dorney Park. In 5th grade I got Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 which I loved at the time. Then, during the summer when I was 12 years old, I had the most important coaster experience of my life. That was going to my first Six Flags park. When I was little I would see those old commercials of Six Flags and imagine how amazing it would be to go there. So my dad surprised me and there I was at Six Flags Great Adventure. It was like heaven for me. And my first ride at a Six Flags park was a very important thing for me. So, there was no other ride that could fulfill that space other than the great Kingda Ka. The moment the hydraulics kicked in will be a feeling I could never forget. Around the middle of summer 07' I got NoLimits and has been perfecting my abilities ever since. I am limited to coaster rideing every year due to money restraints but I try to get to at least 3 of my main parks: Knobles, Hershey, Dorney, and SFGAdv. SFGAdv being the big trip that is mandatory(lol) every year(cannot ever get enough El Toro and Nitro!).
