You guys on the trip have a big storm going your way. Hopefully you can still ride though.

The park closed it's rides for the day at 12:30. It pretty much sucked. The rides I got on were:
-Toro
-Ka
-Dark Knight
-Nitro
-Batman
-Roadrunner
-Skull Mountain

However we are going back on the Dorney park day to get the rest of the coasters done. I loved Nitro and Ka, but Toro was running really slow. I didn't really like it, but I will give it a chance again Saturday.

Knew the weather was gonna cause issues for you guys there. Saturday looks good here so it should be good there to.

Looks like I'll have to add Lake Compounce to my list of parks to check out once I'm living in Boston. Good luck with the rest of the trip though, hopefully the weather gets better for you.

You have to go to Lake Compounce this year. Boulderdash is running so insane (faster than designed) and a trim is very likely.

Today was Six Flags America. It was ok, as the crowds were very low and the group had everything done by 1pm. However, SRoS and Jinx were really slow, while Roar was rough and just crap. The highlight of the day was Batwing...by far.

Tomorrow is BGE, I'm so exicted....might just be the best day of the trip.

Darn you're getting on a ton of rides. Lucky bastard >=/

Sounds unfortunate that Toro didn't please you all that much. Glad you're having a time though!

I'm sure Toro will be much better later in the day...but Dash ain't going anywhere. I don't care how much faster it gets, Dash was just insanely mad.

Oh, I hope they don't do that... would be such a pity! I have never ridden Boulder Dash, but it's very high up on my list. I always thought it looks like one of CCI's best layouts.

So, if the pacing and airtime were that insane, what about the roughness (maybe compared to other CCI's)? Was it still well-rideable?
Thanx and enjoy the next parks on your trip! [peakhill]

Rerideable...yeah. We rode 17 times, pretty much straight. It is very, very smooth, yet still has a ton of intensity via the laterals and airtime.

BGE was amazing, as was Griffon. PKD was ghetto, and was pretty much a credit stop.

-Moreys and Clementon tomorrow.

Looks like your heading back to may area. Though Clementon and Moreys are about 2.45+ hour drives from here.

Seems like the trip is almost over. Would you say it was worth it?

Well we still have 4 super awesome days left...and I haven't been to any of the parks we will be visiting.

Of course it was worth it...so much fun, new friends, and awesome coasters.

Boulderdash was worth the trip price alone.

Your at the Dorney hotel? Guess it saves cash. Hershey is only about 2 hours from Dorney. Cant wait to hear about how good Fahrenheit is.

Only 1300 pics? I had around 3100 total at the end of the midwest trip and I got lazy at a few parks...

I'm lame...I will only have like 1000 photos total at the end...as I have been riding as much as possible.

Moreys was soo awesome. The SLC, Great White, and atmosFear were fantastic. The park was extremely clean, friendly, and had a unique atmosphere.

On the other hand, Clementon was ghetto. The park was so small and had like 5 rides. Tsunami/ Jack Rabbit 2/ J2/ Puma/ Hellcat was really good and bad at the same time...and I liked it. We left before ert because of a huge storm, but I still squeezed 5 rides or so in.

-Hershey tomorrow...its going to rock.

There might be rain there. Same with Dorney. Though only a 10% chance at Dorney.

Today was insane. Dorney had some pretty good rides (Hydra and Steel Force stood out). However I spent most of the day at the optional GADV return trip, where I finished getting all of my credits. We also re-rode El Toro and Nitro and they were running sooo fast...and both had tons of airtime. Toro still falls short of BD though and Nitro is #2 behind SROS.

Hershey was good too, with Fahrenheit, Storm Runner, and Great Bear sticking out. Lightning Racer ert was amazing too.
