Track work is done, starting on supports...which honestly are probably gonna take a lot longer than the track...

This looks like your best ride out of all the recent ones you've published...but the shaping still looks really messed up in some places.

Loving the colors though.

Don't worry, it's all smooth...some of it is the angle of the pics...

Here are a couple more shots from different angles...

Wouldn't agree entirely, but I did like what I saw. Am agreeing with others; layout looks sick and the colors are quite a nice choice. Hopefully you were able to avoid those weird Newton transitions like your previous ride (and other Newtonized uploads) have contained.

The final track is a bit smoother than than the prototype I sent you yesterday. It's fine, really. I think some of you guys over-obsess over some of this stuff. Closely aa mounted POV of a B&M sometime...

Not a bad vid Tyler. I can only imagine how fun this will be when fully supported.

Why not use the FVD formulas to get better transitions?

What exactly is wrong with the transistions?

For comparison...

Yeah dude, that is definitely your best ride. FVD does seem to make smoother transitions than Newton, though.

What I'm talking about is the snapping that is so apparent in your POV Tyler. For example right before :30 seconds into your video and the point between the two rolls at the end. The entrance to the last hill also snaps weird.

With FVD you can make those sections flow a lot smoother by being able to seperate the banking and g force transitions.

Also don't get me wrong, your track isn't bad, it could just be a little better with the FVD formulas.

Newton is better than FVD for some things, but not others, you just have to be careful how you use it.
