An on-ride of the Huss Breakdance that was at Astroland Amusement Park in Coney Island, NY. The park closed on 9/7/08 and as far as everyone knows, it's for good. Unlike most US parks, Astroland never held back in running their Breakdance. I will sure miss this ride...if only I had the $300,000 to buy it.

BTW, the video is shot a little low until 2:13 or so. I had to wait until the ride slowed down to adjust the camera. Also, at 3:36 the ride op acknowledges that I'm filming.

Enjoy!

lol, looks like a normal breakdance ride. With long moments of everything on full speed. A good ride is imo one with loads of variation. We should buy this ride with the whole site [lol]

Heh, a 'normal' Breakdance ride in the US is about half as fast as this one.

Yeah, I always check out the videos of them on youtube. I'll definately make a trip over to Europe sometime and go to one of the big funfairs.

Don't they have ones over there where riders are allowed to stand up?

That was cool. I wish our breakdancers ran more intense programs...well, I'd say 'mini breakdancers.' The most intense one (Which I actually am addicted to) lives at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.

Ha! That's a cool little Breakdance! Those Breakdance 4 models are so odd looking with no platform or anything.

BTW, here's a video with a few people standing up on a Breakdance that I found. You can see them whip around every so often. lol

roflmao, That's in holland! It's the 'Future Dance' that travels around our fairs. And even more fun: I know some of the people that are currently riding it [lol][lol]

edit:
Here's an onride video from a German Breakdance. About halfway i'd manage to spin around loads of times during the ride on full speed ^^

Haha, that's nice! I like all of the lights and fog effects as well as the speed.

Have you ever been on one of the Breakdances that have the 6 satellites instead of 4? Like the Kinzler BD? They look incredible!

And that definately was a 'pwnd' at the end. lol

Yup, I've seen and done all 3 of them in Germany. It's a whole different feeling, You go a lot more around the smaller axle. I barely could spin in that 6x4 breakdance [lol]

Here's a recent pic I took of the Bonner Breakdance on the Cranger Kirmes:

Look at that crowd![pshades][lol]
