WOOT!

I'm slowly but surely getting better at this coaster building thing! lol. Well, here is my first every FVD coaster. For the moment, I don't have much, but this topic is really just to show you guys how much I have improved since my last coaster (not to be cocky or anything... sorry if I am). This is also my first X-Car coaster. I don't want to give away too much info, just so you guys can be more surprised when the ride is up on CC, but here are some stats just for the moment.

Height - 40 m (ride drops underground first)
Car/Trains - 1 car, going to run 3 trains
Max Speed - 80 KMPH
Launch Speed - 25 KMPH

This is the pre launch. There are two sets of launches, there is a downward launch, then a pull up into another launch.

A nice little ejector hill right after the uphill launch.

MMMMMM.... sexy... AHG goodness. This is the airtime hill that pulls -0.6 G's.

Last pic, the launch section. Fun.

Well... Here is my first FVD coaster, Stream Line.

I will keep everybody posted with updates to see how the progress is going. I was planning on fully theming the ride, but maybe just a couple of tunnels here and there. I don't know. If any of you have any suggestions, comments, questions, lemme kno!

Thanks Guys,

Cody

hahahaha, fine. The new name is not StreamLine. Since I am still new to the whole FVD picture, I might need help to make some inversions, so if you guys are willing to help, let me know. My email is coasterrider86@gmail.com, or my AIM is rollerbstrd.

because its just fun, the real question... "Why not a downward launch?" lol, another update will come out tonight probably. I have made more to the track, and I would post pics of the editor and all that, BUT, 2 things, 1, my print screen does not work, and 2, i cannot put pictures straight into the thread itself, so I hope you guys are ok with an NLDC page. Thanks, Cody.

UPDATE, kinda...

Well, i've been kinda working on it all day today, just making some nice fun elements and all that. So far, the ride is really mostly just airtime, if you see a hill, most likely its airtime, lol. The ride is coming together very nicely, BUT!!!! I have a major problem. After AHGing it, the first hill crest is now not pulling the -1 G that I had predicted, but its now pulling 2.1 G's, throwing the ride into the red zone. I need help to fix that, and once its all done, I will then post pics and all that yummy stuff. Anybody willing to help? My AIM is rollerbstrd, or email is coasterrider86@gmail.com

Thanks for the support,

Cody

yea, that what I got also.

------UPDATE------

So, after my little problem, i figured out what was wrong with the track. I AHGd it twice... LOL. So here is my little update. Again like I said, my prtsc does not work, so I am going to have to post pics from the simulator. For the moment, if you see a hill on the ride, there is airtime. I have a couple of outerbanked airtime hills, and a couple of just regular ol' airtime hills. So, here is a little update for what I have at the moment. (unfortunately i have to post NLDC page pics because i can't upload the pics right into the thread...).

WEEEE!!!!!

http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i40333

The first two airtime hills, nice and fun.

Colors not permanent, BUT, I need color suggestions. Bothering me.

Ok guys, thats my little update, and ill get some more track work done and ill keep you guys updated with... updates? lol. Track work is going to be nearing completion soon so if you are willing to test, hit me up with a PM, email, or AIM. There all on my profile.

Thank Ya

Cody

His launch is well within safe-limits. Its only 30 mph if I'm not mistaken. Open up your eyes for a little originality sometime.

yeah a downwards launch is original and i really like the look of this ride that turn would be good in real life for some crowd pleasers.

Start an arguement in the thread. That always gets people to post in topics. Everyone likes a good arguement[;)]
Btw, ur track is starting to look repetitive.........and very similar looking to a V&M hyper, lol. Try doing some sort of inversion.

^ thats my problem, i need help with that, would you like to help me? I don't know what the G's are supposed to be for the inversion and all that, remember, i'm still new to the whole FVD picture, so some help could be nice.

e-stop the ride after it finishes the downward launch portion, silly goose.

since most people don't adjust their transport segments to brake during the aforementioned situation, it can fly right back into the station and crash. and since you have a turn, the lateral forces will sky-rocket.

and from what i can tell, this will happen.

ok, ill take your suggestions Z00Z3R, ill go and change the first launch seggy into a brake seggy. Also, nah, the turn before the launches lats are fine, only goes up to 0.2 G's. so don't worry about those.

alright, another update going to come a little later, probably in about an hour, but so far, i finally figured out how to make an overbanked turn, so that what nice, the only problem is my transitions are really tight. I also added an MCBR, which then takes a 130 degree turn, then a launch with some airtime after. This ride is seriously an airtime machine. I changed the colors also, i changed the main track to a cherry red with grey rails, grey ish supports, and camo green cars. Ill post an update later.
