Hi guys, recently got a new laptop and installed NL.

The simulator works fine, in fact more than fine. But my editor is another story.
It has issues selecting nodes and objects and it is very slow scrolling and sometimes crashes. I will actually have to give up making NL tracks if i can't get this sorted.

Having looked at compatibility issues, i shouldnt be having any issues at all, the only thing i can think of is a graphics card incompatibility.
I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series... if that helps.

Please give suggestions if you can.... :/

Try both editors, software mode and non software mode. I had the same issue and one of them worked fine and the other is slow.

No, both of them are slow. In fact the Software rendering mode is worse...

Goto your laptop's page on the manufacturers website and look for new drivers.

It might also be because your new computer does not have enough RAM either. Check that as well.

Well I would suggest, if you can't fix it and the laptop is having trouble with a major program you use all the time, that you return it and get a different model.

It's Dell, they always skimp on motherboards and ram. For the best NL experience I recommend a self-built desktop, or if you need to operate NL on a laptop, Toshiba and Sony make great laptops and don't skimp on vitals.
