Mine would have to be rolling thunder as of the last few years.

It's been just getting painful.

Grizzly at California's Great America.

It takes real talent to make something so slow be so rough without it jolting to to a halt. You WISH it would stop, but it doesn't, it just keeps rattling slowly along bashing your knees and back into pulp.
Be sure you're not looking in a mirror before you start pointing fingers.

How could you possibly not like Millennium Force?

For me, it has to be X at SFMM

Racer at Kings Island, Son of Beast, Dive to Atlantis, Hypersonic XLC, Beech Bend's kiddie coaster. Mean Streak wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. It was rough but it didn't hurt at all.....I just don't like it because it's boring.

I didn't think Mantis was that bad either, and I rode in the last row on the outside, however it's no where as good as Chang as the first section is way too slow from the trim brake.

edit:
How could you possibly not like Millennium Force?

It's not the worst I've been on by any means but I don't like it either.....I think I have it ranked in the 20s. I don't like it because it's way too drawn out so it isn't intense at all, the airtime is weak and there are only like 3 spots of it (I can ride Apollo if I want floater which has 9+ spots), and overbanks are the most boring element ever in my opinion. Speed and height alone do nothing for be because unless they're used they're nothing but a gimmick. I have several rides in my top 10 that are under 70' tall, but again, MF is around the 20s for me.

i really dont understand not liking MF.
it may not be the best ride ever, but its so fun.
i love that ride.

but i guess i would would mean streak.
i never thought it was to bad, but when i rode it a couple weeks ago,
it was so much worse then it used to be.
it needs some help.

and Freddie, mean streak absolutely DESTROYED my spine last time i rode it.
the back of the seats are so hard, and its like vibrates you so hard,
that by time your off the ride, your spine is a power.
the turns arent smooth, the jerk like if they are corners on an octagon.

Girl please. You take me 300 feet in the air and give me a kiddie ride like that? I have better things to do. I could get the same experience on this, no wait time.

To me there are two kinds of rough: one when the train tracks horribly but there is no lasting pain, and one where it actually jars my back enough for me to feel it after the ride is done. Very few rides do the latter to me, Racer at Kings Island, Wildcat at Compounce, and Son of Beat come to mind. Mean Streak was rough on ride, but when I got off it I was no different from when I got on it and could have easily ridden again. So even though it was rough and shuffled through the turns, I can't call it bad because there was no 'lasting' pain from it.

Hercules at Dorney Park. During the high speed high bank turn after the first drop it felt like my brain would turn to mush. Knocking it down was an act of mercy.

Dude, hate MF?

If the rest of the ride does nothing for you, there's still the fact that it is 300 ft. in the air and over 90 mph. Don't even try to tell me that first drop sucks..

Worst for me could be Cobra at La Ronde, what the hell were they thinking?

I don't like the first drop....The pull into it takes way to long and again, it's just floater. As I said, height and speed alone don't do anything for me. I don't like the lift hill either as it's way too fast so to me it didn't feel tall. Magnum seemed taller to me (Superman at SFNE seems a lot taller to me as well).

I'd have to say Flashback at SFMM. Close to when it got torn down it was a horrible headbanger.

I can understand someone not caring for MF, but the worst roller coaster you've ridden? I say that statement is a need for attention/shock value, or some really weird tastes as someone else said.

And don't try to "girl please" me, I don't play that.

But yeah, I'd have to say Hercules or Rolling Thunder are the worst...both are painful and boring with their many overly slow spots and lack of airtime or otherwise exciting elements. I'll agree with Freddie and say that there are some rides that are rough but not painful...and I agree that Mean Streak was one of them. I rode front row and some parts were rough, but it wasn't too bad. Same with Roar at SFA...very rough, but not painfully so. Hercules and Rolling Thunder, on the other hand, felt like they were literally crushing my back over and over. I don't find that fun, especially considering the rides themselves were/are so boring.

Hipsters hatin on the ever popular MF.

Grizzly at Pga needs to have some love or be taken down. Its not even close to being worth riding due to the terrible bumpiness and the slow pace because of it.

The mine one, whatever it's called, at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, that ride was purely just awful.

Steamin' Demon at Great Escape. Most painful and worst roller coaster easily. No high forces, and no air time anywhere. It's just awful.
