i am pretty sure man.
me and my friend look at charts of the states and which way they are going all the time, and last time i checked, McCain would have to win ALL the toss up states just to tie obama.
but some of the toss up states are leaning in one way or another, and some of them are obama, so therefore thats why im so sure.
it would just be SO unlikely that McCain get all those states.
EDIT!!!! actually, looking at the electoral map calculator off of cnn.com right now, even if i give all the toss up states to McCain, he would still lose by 16 points. and thats if ohio doesnt go in obama's favor. if that happens, then he'll win by 56 points!

See but when is election day? November 4th. Election maps are estimations. You make it seem like they are the results of something that has yet to happen. While I am not saying Obama will not win, I doubt that these "maps" are anything but speculation.

im just saying, with that map being made up of many polls, its very nice to go off of that. yeah, i could be completely wrong when election day comes. but idk, that looks pretty promising to me.

Are you suggesting that Palin is a likely P, as in, Presidential candidate? Have you listened to her? She doesn't even know what the roles of government are ... this is the last person anyone should want near Washington. Ya ever wonder why she is in an artic state tucked away from the rest of the country? Hmmmm?
It fluctuates and you know it. If anything, they have not really cheered for the DNC.
As far as the electoral college, let's remember George Bush thought he had it wrapped up as well (and we all know what happened). However, I would be willing to gage and predict that Obama should win handedly, at least by a decent margin. I really cannot see McCain's team of lawyers having anything to challenge and all should be wrapped up by 11PM EST on Nov 4.
No, I mean P as in president. She would never win as the candidate but she is in an almost lock for the spot should McCain get elected and die in office.

It's only a matter of hitting the right states to get the right count and boom, another George Bush win of popular vote picks one pres and electoral college picks the other one.

Who cares what McCain's aides say? I dont and I bet this story is not even true. I am already seeing plenty of "news" that can be considered fake. Most of it is about this election but not all about presidential versions of this election.
True Tetsu ... except for the fact that CNN is primarily a Republican news-source which prides itself on propping up McCain and slamming Obama (and has for months now). Now, here we have McCain's primary news "cheering section" letting this story go and simply reporting facts with no spin or angle to them. I am telling you man, it is political implosion live and up close.
Stay tuned for some heavy back-peddeling and of course, the finger pointing will be running amuck shortly. Gotta give it to Palin though, IMO. Hillary Clinton backed herself away from Bill when he had all his issues with Monica Lewinsky, and we see how it carried her forward over the last year (she came away with no guilt by association and people loved her). I wonder what Palin is gonna get at the end of this road. That my friend, is the real story here.

Barack Obama will win, definitely. The reason I feel he will win is because people are sick and tired of the Bush mentality, which McCain has. Not to mention the fact that there are prominent Republicans like Gen. Colin Powell who are supporting Obama, it seems to me that there is dissension within the Republican party. The economy sucks and everybody, including the fat-cat Republicans are feeling the pinch. I am voting for Obama, and besides, with supporters like this, who in their right mind would want McCain as President?
