My list changes and evolves depending on my mood and how well/poorly my memory is working at the time. But some of my favorites are (in no order whatsoever). Yeah, it's a long list, I'm old:

Spirited Away
The Fifteen Minute Hamlet
Labyrinth
Ghostbusters
Beauty and the Beast
High Plains Drifter
Superbad
Brazil
Toy Story
Cars
Mulan
The Incredibles
Young Frankenstein
Star Wars (Episode IV)
Airplane!
The Fisher King
The Adventures of Baron M?????????nchhausen
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Time Bandits
Blade Runner
Empire of the Sun
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Hogfather
Chinatown
Alien
Aliens
The Haunting (1963)
La Femme Nikita
Drunken Master (Jui kuen) (1978)
Once upon a time in China (Wong Fei Hung)(series)
Shakespeare in Love
Silence of the Lambs
Waking Ned
The Professional
Das Boot
Kung Fu Hustle
Excalibur
Snatch
Heathers
The Blues Brothers
The Man Who Would Be King
The Lion in Winter
Apocalypse Now
Jurassic Park
Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
My Neighbor Totoro
Castle in the Sky
Silverado
The Bridge On The River Kwai
An American Werewolf In London
Poltergeist
Unforgiven
2001: A Space Odyssey
The Shining
Unbreakable
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Sean of the Dead
The Lion King
Die Hard
The Return of the Pink Panther
Bananas
The Life of Brian
After Hours
The Lord of the Rings (series)
The Matrix (if I pretend the other two didn't happen)
A Clockwork Orange
Southpark: Bigger, Longer, Uncut
Blazing Saddles
Shrek

Wow someone actually mentioned The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover, I'm surprised. SO many people completely miss the fabric of that film (much like Fight Club, but 1000 times more-so). Taken purely at it's surface it's aggravating and unredeemable, but once you start detecting the thick layers of symbolism it gets fun. Do I recommend it? No, that'd be like recommending a violent, disjointed and gory Rubik's Cube to someone who just wants to read a good book. Is it a good movie goers movie? No. But it is a masterwork of design and artistry.
Be sure you're not looking in a mirror before you start pointing fingers.

That's kind of my point. Everything you listed except the Goonies and Swimfan is less than 5 years old. And more than half are less than 3 years old.

Not to mention both Sexdrive AND Quarantine are both horrible.

He is too cool for older movies, and he only likes sexdrive because it has the word sex in it.
"Careful man, there's a beverage here!"

The only good things about sexdrive are Seth Green is Amish and the stand is called Senor Donut.
