Welcome to my world, where the wind comes sweeping down the plain. [;)] We had nasty weather yesterday too, with tornados a few miles from where I live and 80 mph straight line winds in the places where the tornados weren't. It seems that spring is starting a little early this year. Hopefully this isn't a sign of how the next few months will be, because last year's tornado season was more than enough to last for two years.

Our house has never been hit by a tornado, but I saw a funnel cloud, also when I was a baby a funnel cloud went over our house and it shook the house but that's it.

Id love to see a big tornado but we unfortuanlty dont get hardly any over here in the UK. I saw a tiny one once which probaly didnt even register as an F1 lol. I have enough trouble with lightning over year. I swear to god its after me. In 2002 is was caught in a lightning storm whilst fishing and the lightning was crashing around in the feild around us. I swear to god its the most scared ive ever been. But the sound was the worst thing. So loud and sounded nothing like how you hear from a distance. You could here the electricity.

like 5 years ago (june 1st, 1998) a pretty big tornado (F2-F3) for pennsylvania went through our town. It didnt hit our house, but a couple of houses down the road were ripped up. The real freaky thing was looking in our tree, you could see the funnel shape going through the tree. It was at night so that maid it really bad, we had no idea of any tornado warning's or anything. We heard a roar (everyone says it's a train noise, but i swear it sounded like a bear) and all ran to the basement, but by the time we got on the first step to go down, it was over. We could of been killed if it would of achually hit our house. Also a section at our high school football field blechers were teared down, when graduation was the day after the tornado. Other damage: Silohs teared down, gas station thingy's on top fell down, nearly all of the powerlines were laying across the road, a 1968 mustang that was in one of those shed's that are made at a factory, totalled, many windows broken (but not on our house), many roofs ripped off, and many trees nocked over. Very scarey indeed. And of course, i never got to see it[dunno][:(] but just our elementary school had like 3 days off, and we didnt have to make them up[:)]

I love watching Tornadoes, until they kill your house, or you.

I hate it when tornadoes come to our area cause in the daytime all the storms are wimps, but at night, the start getting strong. I also like to watch them until it's me whose in trouble.
