has anyone seen the video on you tube of a roller coaster called Thunderhead falls. I think it is a great coaster. It is themed in a wild west theme with a mine and some caves with gems in them. It must have taken a lot of work, whoever made it. there is actually a real mine called thunder head falls in South dakota that might be where the inspiration came from. Go watch the You tube video and tell me what you think.

Haha, when I read the topic I thought it was about Thunderhead falling over [lol]

But yeah, I know this ride. I'm pretty sure it's in my favourites on coastersims, I think it was made by Phyter. Such a cool coaster.

nope :D. This ride is a masterpiece, probably one of the best coasters on NL. Not just because of the 3ds, but because the ride was smooth, and everything was yummy sex.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

A Thunderhead virgin? Amazing.

That coaster should be made compulsory riding as the perfect blend of excellent track work and theming. At least, until his next coaster comes out:

DUDE, that's the kind of thing we all aim for, isn't it. What 3D program do you think he uses?

he is making me seriously think about getting 3DS max because i have been wanting to be able to build the scenery around the coaster because i have HUGE 3DS plans for my rides but none of them burst into fruitfulness because Tia's OC just can't handle it.

edit: WOAH that 3DSmax is expensive! more than ?????????3,000!

I'm not suggesting any wrong doings at all here but... don't pay for it, silly.

Or look into trueSpace, Wings3D, Blender or anim8or which are all free and capable of good things.

Or MilkShape ar SketchUp which are not free but are much cheaper than 3DS Max.

You'll only really need 3DS Max if you want to do texture baking, which non of the rest of these do very well (and even in Max it's a pain).

There is a free version of SketchUp which works well and is simple, it's just that you have to get someone to export it for you. It's what I use though, and I love it, minus the lack of export functionality in the free version.
