It looks good, but most tracks would when you crank up the settings in the simulator. I hope this thing rides well, its certainly not true to a certain style.

No jenson, the track it just floating.. and the track just randomly ends. Not very safe or realistic.

Why would he do supports now, when he hasn't started terrain or anything, or am i missing something?

thats what i mean, hes not done with the track yet.
so why would start supporting now?
normally you wait till you get the layout, and terrain done first before you start supports.

Really? I thought you did the landscaping first, then supports, then track.

Looks cool though.

It's basically whatever you prefer, but if you want your supports to be accurate they're always last.

Crank? I did no cranking! This is how my sim looks aaaaaaaaaaaaall the time [:D] heh. But yes, I agree, setting everything to the max does have the ability to make even poorly made tracks look nice.

Woodie Man; I haven't the foggiest what this ride will be called yet. I have a general layout of the ride drawn up and am almost 100% certain on the position of all the elements etc... But I feel that it is best to build the coaster before you decide on a colour scheme or theme and subsequently the name. That is unless you have got a clear idea in your head that means the ride has to be built a certain way. But I tend to build it first, then ride it a load to get a good feel for what would suit the ride best.

Lewis13; There will be no Commencement of "fast building" [:P] I like to take my time! [:D]

damn, that is one crazy element, hope the lats are ok.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

The highest Lat I've spotted is a tiny bit where it flicks to -0.9 for a split second. I'm still trying to remove that.

well, thats not too bad i guess if its just for a split second. If you can get that worked out though, the better. Keep us updated, im excited for this. Any 3ds gonna happen with this?

I want to but I seriously doubt it for I am a lazy piece of crap [:)]

If you could export 3Ds from Inventor to NL, then I would do it because I would just do them while I was at work instead of coming on here [lol]

Someone's been busy!

LAYOUT PICTURE REMOVED

LAYOUT PICTURE REMOVED

Layout shown may be subject to change as I'm not enitrely happy with the pacing in the last inversion, the "super low down super wide mouthed cobra roll" heh. It may simply become an overbanked corner, which would fit in nicely in terms of support structure in that area!

More pictures soon!

As a follow up to something I said earlier: I meant the name of the inversion and not the name coaster. So let me ask again, what will you call the first set of inversions?

ahhh, I see. Well then in that case, I built it on a previous coaster which never really got off the ground, but I saved it as an element and I called it "Samurai Roll", that was just the first bit of the two elements, but that's not good because it's not really a roll, it's more like a twisted loop... yeah, Twisted Loop! [lol] As for the next bit of it, I dunno heh. But the 1st and 3rd element now make up some form of twisted interlocking loop type thingymajigga [:D]
