California Day 1 - The Long Flight

Finally after a while it's a new trip to America. This time California on the planning. The plan is to visit loads of parks in the San Francisco area, LA Area, Las Vegas Area and maybe San Diego too. Of course also some sightseeing around California for my mom.

It was getting up really early on Thursday since we'd had to catch a flight to Chicago. "Chicago? But you where saying you were going to California?" Yup, But we'd have to transfer planes in Chicago, from there we're going to continue to San Francisco. Total flight duration: 13 bloody hours!


Yup, that's the first part of our journey, all the way to chicago!


Me with my mom, everything was still fine and do-able.


Far above the clouds, about 30,000ft.


Cool, it's the big city: Chicago


Too bad we arn't going to stay here. Cedar Point isn't that far away. xD


"Too bad we're leaving again in about an hour" xD


The 2nd flight, this time it's an internal flight. And what a difference between planes! So many space! And no, we didn't had premium seats...


Bye Chicago, see you next year?


Crop circles? Can anyone explain what it is and why in a circle? xD I don't see the advantage of growing stuff in a circle instead of just a square.


Finally, were almost there!


Now it was only waiting 1,5 hours on our suitcases since those has been send a flight later!

After that we were so tired so we got our rental car for the upcoming 3 weeks and drove to our hotel. Which was located downtown San Francisco.

Dirk, the reason that you see the crops grown in circles is because of the way they are watered. Water is pumped into a central point and a big arm rotates around the circle watering the crops. It's more efficient that watering a square.

welcome to CALI! lol, im actually at boarding school in boston, but i live in California. Be sure that you hit SFMM, that park really is fun, and probably your first 4d coaster as well, that ride is scary, but awesome at the same time.

Thanks guys, And asaaa, Of course I'm going to hit SFMM. It's the biggest park with coasters so that's a park I'm definitely not going to miss out!
