Olympic Looping is a good one too!

Even though It is a real ballcrusher, and some of you here might hate it, I personally think it is really fun to go on! It only goes 35 MPH, But the first time I went on it, I thought it went as fast as Lazer did, 51 MPH.

Ah yeah, I was just looking at that picture again and thought it looked familiar. Sure enough, an S.D.C. Hurricane, same thing they now have on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. It's a fun little coaster and that last helix is surprisingly powerful. Making little coasters that feel big and powerful is an art form. I've been thinking about using this layout as a starting point for my next, haunted mansion themed, coaster. It's better than the Wild Mouse layouts I've also been studying.

Oh no I didn't! [;)] I covered the Schwarzkopf's in my first post in this topic, he and Stengel did amazing things in small footprints. And portable too! Unfortunately their layouts are generally too cramped to acomodate theming, and where they aren't cramped they're moving fast making the theme a blur. I have been considering the Double Looping pretty seriously though.

I didn't realize there are only 3 of those S.D.C. Hurricanes in the world, I'm going to appreciate it much more on my next trip to the Boardwalk!

Personaly to me the best compact coaster, would be Nemesis if you can class it as a compact coaster.. But for a realy compact coaster with a slammin'drop and awesome layout,"besides slightly painful" has to be Jubilee Odyssey @Fantasy Island Ingoldmells

I used to love the Wylde Maus at BGW until they took it down. That thing was crazy fun!

Poltergeist is the best compact steel coaster I have been on..it runs absolutely insane (much faster than Jokers Jinx or FOF).

For wood, it HAS to be Boardwalk Bullet. 42 crossovers (old record was like 20 something) and 3300' of track in 1 acre makes it the most compact, full size wooden coaster on the planet (96 feet tall).

SpongeBob at Nick Universe is probably my favorite compact coaster. It has an excellent first drop, decent postive Gs, a few nice airtime pops, and it's smooth for the most part. Nothing mind-blowing, but it packs a nice punch despite its short duration.

What a legendary bump. 7 years XD

My favorite would have to be Batman at Six flags Fiesta Texas. Looks like a super fun ride.

For outright insane use of space Smiler has to be right up there. That's a compact coaster built on a hill lol thats designed around a toilet building whilst adhering to strict height restrictions.
