Well, technically not brand new..But new to me, so yeah. Finally got a car. [:D]

Mazda 3, 5 speed manual..etc. This is a fun car to drive. Just need to get some winter tires now. These sport tires are pretty slippery in the slush. [lol]

So get a job and buy one.

I wasn't too fond of the colour when I first test drove it. But it has grown on me. I really was hoping to find a black one though. I'm so emo wanting a black one. [:(]

So get a job and save the money while you can. That way when you do turn 16 and get your license, you are at least part of the way to being able to purchase one.

May people in canada drive cars at the age of 16 [confused], damn I am 17 and I have to wait a year more till I finally get my license. Then I get the oldest car of the house, a 1987 Audi 80, still runs smooth

You can start driving when you are 16, but not by yourself. You usually don't get your 'full' licence until you are around 17 1/2 to 18.

You certainly won't regret buying this, my dad has a Mazda 3 too which I get to drive every now and then and I just love how obedient it is. And the engine sound is nothing to complain about either [pshades]

For some reason last night my dad bought a 2009 Toyota Camry and I ended up signing all the paper work. He was upset that his 05 Nissan Altima started giving him problems that would require replacing the entire engine. [lol]

Why would you want a black car? You would be washing it three times a week!

Until it becomes "jenson go pick me up _____ from the store" and "jenson go pick up your little brother from ______" and then "jenson you owe 43,000 dollars a year for insurance".

I remember when Mazada first came out with a Rotary Engine. Does anybody have one of those? I test drove one in 1971 I think. It had good power. Rotary engines have fewer moving parts than those piston engines. Don't know why they ever stopped making them.

^ The Rotary Wankel engine.
Makes for smoother acceleration and general throttle control, doesn't allow for greater fuel consumption, and also has less capacity for power, although with the RX-8 Mazda managed to squeeze a fair doodle of power of it.

A Fair doodle? 232 BHP out of 1.3L. Thats pretty impressive IMO.

You can get a 3 Rotor version which is something under 4L engine producing a ridiculous 600+ BHP.

Rotary Engines are CRAZY. I love em. Though the reliability over the long haul isnt so great.
