I'm back in the Hard Hat Area with a new ride, still in progress.

I started it some time ago (like 1 or 2 weeks ago) and I thought I'd give it a thread on CC.
So here are some pictures of Blind Twister, a Gerstlauer custom spinner.

That looks pretty good! Looks like the first part of the coaster will be thrilling. I wished you put something thrilling at the end too, but it's to late now. The sorrounding will be really good, by now it looks really pretty particularly the tunnel!

I look forward to the next update,
Thrill

Wow, thats twisted!! Does it spin the whole way? I was thinking it would be cool if between your two MCBRs it didnt spin, to break things up a bit and give the riders a breather.

EDIT:
I can't believe two other people have the same pic/avatar as me [B)]

^ It's not realistic to have a spinner like this stop spinning half way, than start again. They take 5-10 seconds when stopped to re-lock them.

This looks really nice Leflo! I love the whole layout!
Don't underestimate the power of Knex

Some little update :

Image
^ Ladders done. I'll work on that light differences between the ladders and the catwalks.

Image
^ Tunnel shadow done but as you can see in the bottom picture, it is not interactive so from that point of view everything that's behind the fog screen is darkened, but well.

What material do you use for your catwalks if you use sketchup? Anyways it's looking like a great coaster.

I use the Object Creator, haha. Sketchup is a s****y 3D modeling program.

Whats with you and dugouts? Almost every ride you build has a trench or tunnel. Do have like a fetish?

I'm just joking of course, but still. The coaster looks exceptional though!

Trenches or tunnels look quite fun to me and they add a thing to the ride and to the landscape IMO. I like them so why not. :p

For some reason, this pictures looks ridiculously fun turning from bank to flat hairpin.

Very fun looking layout, after re-evaluating it. Even awesome-er job.

I would need someone who could make a like 5m tall 3D Tornado with the logo of the ride... Has anyone the skills to do it?

Weather it is 2d or 3d it is still 3d in the sense of it is an object.

I think you managed to be the most usefull poster of the day. Well done.

I say make it like a block with the logo on the front of it. Right next to the queue. Kinda like road runner express at SFMM.

Or actually 3d, and have the logo on it like, 2-3 times like its getting sucked into the Tornado. If I had 3dmax installed, Id do this in a heartbeat. Actually a great idea. Maybe the letters like they are debris...

So I guess this idea can't be abandoned. Right.

Some progress with the outline of the paths:
