So a few minutes ago, she was found not guilty. What is your opinion of this fail?

She was a bad mother, but not a murderer. There are 2 other suspects in the case who are more likely responsible for her Caylee's death: the grandfather and the meter guy who was at the scene of Caylee's remains twice.

No evidence for her murder by her mother.

WAY to much evidence..... you have got to be kidding me.

I loved watching this lol, they lied about getting molested. Its funny how they try to convict her of killing little caylee when they have no evidence of who killed her anyways. I say its casey mom or dad who did it.

just like you said .. the news came on and they were going to read the verdict and i said to my coworkers as we gathered aroungd the radio " whoah.. this is just like when they read the oj verdict, except we wont hear the words " not guilty" " still they have a point .. there is " reasonable doubt" i guess. in my opinion it would suck more if she got sentenced for it and didnt do it.

Here's the deal guys. If there was more than enough evidence, shed be a convicted murderer right now.

Do you think for one moment that ANY of those Jurors WANT to be known as the ones who acquitted her? I can bet money that each one of them was secretly HOPING for enough enough evidence to convict her. Nobody wants to be known as the jury who let a child killer go but there wasn't even a SINGLE shred of evidence the jury could latch onto and come up with a conviction.

Face it. Either 1 of 2 things happened:

1. Defense sucked/prosecution was awesome
2. She didnt do it.


If she did, shes not a bright child so she would have left something to catch.


Circumstantial evidence is NOT good enough to convict someone on.


Reason you all thought she was guilty is because the media said she was from the day it hit the airwaves. Nancy Grace being one of the largest proponents of the hysteria. Nancy Grace is a joke and nothing more than a sensationalist whore. I cannot stand her and her absolute and complete arrogance.

But really, I think Casey is a douche and a pretty crappy parent, probably could say a pretty crappy person considering the lies shes spewed. However, I don't thinks shes smart enough to commit murder and hide it, not with today's technology.

Hopefully shell get her due if she did. But really, go back to what I first said. None of those jurors wanted to set her free I bet. Inside I bet each one hoped something would come up so they could be heroes. Now they are basically villains.

Um, did anyone else read the part that said HER TRUNK HAD TRACES OF HUMAN DECOMPOSITION? How do you explain that? And I'm sure it's normal for "how to make chloroform" to show up in someone's internet search history.

There was no DNA or Fingerprint evidence of who did it, so don't go hatin till you can prove that Casey killed little Caylee.

Nope, no actual evidence. Were you at the trial or are you still watching Nancy Grace for your updates? None of us were at the trial nor do I think any of you watched all covered footage.

Chloroform is present either in a body decomposing or the chemical made to put someone down.

Heres the kicker Johnny - Chloroform, while its an interesting part of the case, the Defense could do NOTHING with it because it was so circumstantial. There was no hard evidence it was used.

Heck, they went as far as to use an expert in the smells of decomp and the expect said yes, it was decomp body. The defense used that guys MENTOR and he said No, it wasn't. So who do you trust, the teacher or the student?


Again, if all this evidence were soooo convincing the jury would have taken 2hrs to say shes guilty.


I still think it speaks volumes that the jury had to make the UNFAVORABLE decision to say not guilty, when the whole world had already convicted her.

Obviously the data they had differed from the data we were given.

See, I didn't know this. I shouldn't have got somewhat worked up over this, when I should KNOW that the media is bullshit. They just love to not tell the whole story.

And for the record, I don't know who the love Nancy Grace is. I read the article without reading the header on the page.

Just sayin, don't listen to the news outlets for your info. You'll get the best info after the trial when they release more of the information we didn't have access to which is why I kept saying, the JURY. They had more info than we did and I trust they made the right decision. Even though they knew it would be hugely unpopular.

Real, your opinion almost exactly reflects mine. Though I know nothing about the case, I trust the jurors enough to believe that they made the correct decision.

Jake, I agree, I was like WHAT?! but after reading the more detailed case notes and what went on, people examined and the data presented...It doesn't sound like the prosecution presented the right or enough evidence.

Which, you can say "Hey, look at the all the "signs"! And Ill say yea, it does seem REALLY shady. Not reporting the missing child for basically ever. The lies. The weirdness. But none of that is scientific nor actually good evidence. Its just based on our opinions.

My Facebook exploded with the "OMG SHES SO GUILTY BLAH BLAH BLAH" and I had to sit for a few minutes after reading more info and process the situation properly. When I asked myself what if I were a juror that's when it struck me. None of the jurors wanted this outcome I bet, other than feeling confident they wouldn't send an innocent woman to jail, or worse, death. That would be a lot harder to deal with than the ridicule they are no receiving for letting go a suspicious woman. But that's all she is.


If she did do it, I hope the right piece of evidence comes out and they can try her for something similar. As for how it stands now, shes innocent.

And shes also a douche. I wouldn't want my future kids around her. But hey, I cant call her a murderer either. Just a douche.


To answer Gouldy - the only fail is on the Defense Attorney. Other than that, not surprised.
