^^^^Ya mean, like what we think would be the best ride in the world, from the pics, vids and reviews?
Cuz obviously noone has been on every ride in the world...

Well, from the ones I've been on it's Katun...

And from the ones I haven't been on, T Express, Boulder Dash, The Voyage, Maverick, SROS (SFNE), the Megalites and Eagle fortress...
I'm convinced one of them would be my nr. 1...
Or maybe even Katun...

Except like....I've ridden them all....and you haven't....so yeah.

Edit: Even ridden Dash and SROS in the same day to know Dash is better.

Dcs221, how can you say something is better than something else without riding it?

For me,

1.Boulder Dash
2.Phoenix
3. SROS

Same way everyone else is in that other thread Jake.

You can't know something is better Freddie. That's impossible.

Can't have an opinion about something you haven't tried, either.

You can't say those 4 rides are the best in the world without having ridden all rides in the world. If you say my opinion isn't valid, yours is equally invalid. Can't have it both ways guy.

Aha, Dash gets involved in some kind of argument in every thread about good coasters.

1. Boulder Dash
2. El Toro
3. Storm Runner

IMO it's pretty implied that I listed ones that I've ridden. You basically just took mine and said SROS > all of them despite not having ridden the other three.

Oh so the name is just misleading?

'Best ride in the World' = 'A new thread for Freddie and DCs to battle about which rides are better?'

...

The best rides in the world are at BGA, but I also like Excalibur at VFair and the Mt. Olympus woodies very very much.

That's because a certain someone refuses to go ride the best coasters just because the park doesn't have 10 other 'good' coasters.

I'd rather go ride Dash all day long then go to a park with 10 coasters, none of which are better than Dash.

My post was mostly satire at the hypocracy of your first post, as given your own opinion, you can't pick the best ride in the world not having ridden them all. I did the same thing in the best park thread.

I'm different from you Jake...I don't care to drive extra or pay more for one or two rides, in general. I also don't care to ride kiddy coasters to say I've been on X number of coasters. I think that practice is stupid. What kind of achievement is that? If you'll excuse me I'll actually be enjoying myself on the good coasters instead of the kiddy ones.

btw Jake, how do you know you'd rather do that, you've never been to Cedar Point...they have 10 coasters. So you're saying Dash is better than all of them? If so, you should probably not talk about my first post anymore...

I think that this argument is pointless because its all about personal opinion, and anyone who thinks that their opinion is the correct one has a tard problem.

But splash mountain is the best ride in the world.

Let me get back to you in June.

I'm willing to bet none of CP's coasters will compete with Dash, and if not, I would rather travel to go ride Dash than go back to CP.

If you give me a choice between a park with the best coaster and the park with the most 'decent' coasters, I will choose the best coaster. Dash has more airtime than the entire collection of coasters at CP anyways, I'm willing to bet. If I have more fun on that one coaster than anything at CP, why would I go to CP instead?

^^I do like Dash more than anything at Cedar Point (and anything at Great Adventure, Magic Mountain, Hershey, Dorney, Knott's, SFNE, Canada's Wonderland, La Ronde, Bush Gardens Africa and Europe, a bunch of Disney parks, etc...) but honestly, don't hate on Cedar Point man. Those are actually some world class coasters, even if it just got that reputation because of all the fanboys going "OMGZ CDR POINT RULEZ LOL". After you try it and don't like it, then I'd understand, but trust...That is quite a great park. A lot of those coasters are more than decent.

Again, pretty sure it's implied by the listed rides that it's obviously just my opinion. I can't even really tell when it's satire with you half the time because you do seem to have the mentality that small parks aren't worth going to.

I don't understand not going to a park/paying more for one or two rides either. You do that when you go to pretty much any Six Flags park (unless you have a season pass I guess, but you're still going out of your way) since they all (ones I've been to, SFNE included) seem to only have 1-2 good rides and a bunch of crap ones. What's the difference between that and going to a small park where they just don't have the bunch of crap ones?

You really don't know what you're missing out on by judging rides from Youtube videos and only going to 'big' parks.

I have a Six Flags season pass, and I'm not gonna argue that whole point because it isn't relevant. The guy asked what are the best rides in the world, you listed 4 without having ridden all rides in the world, then got on me for not having ridden those on your list. Hypocracy! :P

Best rides in the world thread = what are your favorite rides that you've been on thread.

Again, pretty sure it's implied by the listed rides that it's obviously just my opinion.

No hypocrisy.
