Yeah, peoples' dispatch times on their rides are often unrealistically short. I agree with Jake.

Too many school projects plus too much drum corps equals an unfinished ride! Hopefully I won't have to drop out of the NLT as well...

I haven't had time to really finish mine off, in terms of the themeing anyway. I've had tonsillitis and flu at the same time over the past week, cripplingly bad, haven't been able to get out of bed until now. However, still not gonna go to work today, or tomorrow I don't think, so I'll perhaps have time to do it during the day. Either way I'll still be sending in a track, just may not be as themed as I'd have hoped it would be!

I too agree with you guys, but there was a rule in the 'rules' section making you have a distpatch every 96 seconds.

And there is still only one entry in the Thanksgiving template and a mere three in the Christmas one, so those trophies are near-freebies to anyone who turns in a track for them.

I've no time at all. Damn school.

Some great tracks have come in, but there are others that make me wonder if the designer actually read any of the rules or judgment criteria.

Nope, you listened. That's all I'll say. I'm going to keep my mouth shut until judgment time on whether any track was good or not.

BTW, when will the results be in?

^My goal is to have them done before the beginning of the NLT, but I'm not making promises anymore. I'm just going to post status updates as they get done. My best guess is about 2 weeks. Could be sooner, could be later. I'll see. Right now, I've got 16 tracks, and it's the beginning of the semester so I do have a lot of free time, but I don't want to promise anything since whenever I did that in the past it turned out disastrously.

However, I will promise that this won't turn into another 2-month wait like my other contests have. I've changed since then, and am more dedicated, so no need to strike with blunt objects this time. Anyway, once the contest is closed 7 hours from now, just stay tuned and I'll post periodic status updates to let everyone know how the ratings are coming.

Sadly I'm going to have to drop out, great competition though!
