Here is the statement released on Steve Jobs?????????s health.

PRESS RELEASE:

Apple CEO Steve Jobs today sent the following email to all Apple employees:

Team,

I am sure all of you saw my letter last week sharing something very personal
with the Apple community. Unfortunately, the curiosity over my personal health
continues to be a distraction not only for me and my family, but everyone else
at Apple as well. In addition, during the past week I have learned that my
health-related issues are more complex than I originally thought.

In order to take myself out of the limelight and focus on my health, and to
allow everyone at Apple to focus on delivering extraordinary products, I have
decided to take a medical leave of absence until the end of June.

I have asked Tim Cook to be responsible for Apple?????????s day to day operations, and
I know he and the rest of the executive management team will do a great job. As
CEO, I plan to remain involved in major strategic decisions while I am out. Our
board of directors fully supports this plan.

I look forward to seeing all of you this summer,
Steve

I wonder if he's taking a vacation for poops and giggles or if he's really sick.

Apple is going to collapse! Finally, the reign of the cliched, overrated, expensive POSs made by Apple is coming to an end. Have fun "appletards" (lol) paying $1.29 for all your music that's released.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

You should know, that it's only 1.29 if you're buying brand new songs. Old stuff is .69. It's hard to understand exactly what you mean by a cliched and overrated reign. Usually, people tend to purchase products that work, which is probably the reason why nobody has purchased Windows Vista.

20 million copies of Windows Vista were sold in the month after the new OS was released

It took one year for Mac OS X lepard to reach 9 million

Ha, now with him out of the way for a little while, Microsoft can buff up Windows 7 a bit more and have it take over.

yea, i sorta just switched back to PC. The viruses are a biatch, but i can deal. Apple was just way too expensive, imean, i still rock the iphone, but computer wise, pc is back for me.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

And your point is?

Look at the market share. PC's using Windows are still obviously the dominant brand. My statement was mostly related to the fact that companies refuse to update and usually for the reason of stability.

Do you have some official website that you got your statistic from? How can we be sure that you didn't just make it up?

Strata, with your comment it seems that you have this idea that Windows needs to take over from something, but you really don't know what do you? You and I both know that more people use that operating system than do Mac OS. And when you say buff it up, really all you mean is that you hope that they can steal more ideas from a superior operating system. There wouldn't be a reason to even create System 7 unless Vista failed which is has. This is also not the first time that Jobs has taken a leave of absence. The person taking over is the same person as the prior time and it obviously didn't hurt the company any.

Only according to the lame MAC Commercials, its pretty sad when a company has to lie to make a profit. They don't even advertise their own products [lol]. Stop sucking ass and give it up MACs SUCK! Most companies update their products regularly, because of new advances and features that aren't compatible with older OS's. Stop wasting my time I'm sick of your nerd rants.

Not trying to start a debate or anything, but what viruses? I haven't had a virus on my Windows based computer in over 5 years. I have also been using Vista 64bit since September and haven't even bothered to get an anti-virus program. [dunno]

All you have to do is delete any emails that you don't know who sent them, don't run .exe files unless you know for sure what it is and don't visit and any ad filled porn sites.

I do; its bad rep from Vista. I personally know a bit of people who hate it, whether it be from seeing other people hate it or them hating it themselves, resorting to OS X or XP.

My hopes exactly.

There wouldn't be a reason to even create System 7 unless Vista failed which it has.

Sure there's a reason besides that; money. A new OS, a new thing to have. Microsoft makes a new OS every 3 years. XP's time was enlongated because of its treacherous start.

On a side note, I personally find 7 to be a great upgrade from XP. It makes the most of my RAM, Video memory and Battery life--where as vista did the opposite. And the new features... are actually features. Not just covered up XPness.

This is also not the first time that Jobs has taken a leave of absence. The person taking over is the same person as the prior time and it obviously didn't hurt the company any.

Well damn.

New Apple computers, well products more so, are great. Just irrespectably over priced.
