what's the judgement status?

I've ridden all the tracks to get a general impression, and compare/contrast to make sure that once I start writing the ratings, I can make good comparisons, highlighting what I preferred from track to track. I haven't officially written any ratings yet, but I plan to start tonight.

Okay, folks, here is the way in which I will keep you updated on the progress of the ratings. What follows is a list of all the tracks I received. As ratings are completed, the colors will change. I will re-post this list every few days with updated colors.

The way that the ratings will be sorted are first by which template the coaster was built in, and then sub-sorted in alphabetical order of usernames.

STATUS:
I'm going away for the next day-and-a-half, so no more ratings will be done before Sunday night. LlLucAaA's rating was a 1.5-page marathon, but so it usually is with the first coaster to be rated in a contest since I examine it to every detail so that I can set the standard to carry through with the other ratings. I spent almost 2 hours on this one, but the others will go significantly faster now that I have something to compare them with. After I return on Sunday night, I will try to get at least one rating done per night, likely more if I feel especially motivated. The next status update will be on Monday night.

Can you upload Maxamaxam - "-Sinopsys-" and MACchiato - "Ol' Patt's Party Piece" since they didn't upload them? I really want to download them.

i'll be a secondary judge of the tracks if you like, just incase you want a second opinion besides your own.

Nope. I can't. If they didn't want the public to see their coasters, that's their decision. That is why the e-mail option is there, for people that want to compete, but aren't yet sure if they want to post it or not.

STATUS:
I finished judgment for Template 1 yesterday night, and am now moving on to template 2. All week, my evenings will be free, so I plan on doing at least 1 review per night, likely more. So far, there have been no disqualifications, and all the tracks have been highly enjoyable. And I really don't have much else to say, so I'll leave it there.

The next progress update will be on Thursday night.

I had some school work to do over the last couple days, so I didn't get quite as many done as I was hoping to. However, since it's the weekend, it's time to chomp at the bit. I'm starting on gouldy's rating presently, and will hopefully be within a few tracks of finishing Template 2 by the end of the weekend.

Um ,I found my contest track(Panda) had a environment glitch (the chain and chain wheel are all WHITE!!) it maybe affect my score![B)]

However, it doesn't matter. I wasn't going to take any points off. I was just going to assume that it was still a lift chain.

I'm seeing some huge rides here... But wasn't it supposed to be a cheap low to the ground ride? But still very full of adrenaline and really innovative?

no it was about building a coaster without wasting height or elements etc.
So if your ride is huge with terrible pacing you did something wrong, but does it never bore you its a good thing:P

^It was kind of both. I was mostly looking for smaller, more efficient ones. However, if a coaster is still reasonably near the $15 million budget and I don't feel like the extra height was unnecessary, it's still good. There was one coaster so far that was like 220 ft tall, but I think it could have been just as exciting at around 140 feet, so that was indeed a big detriment in the budget category.

A coaster that's going to cost over $20 million, though, isn't going to get a good budget score no matter how efficient it is. You have to keep your client's target budget in mind when you're building. It's like house-shopping. Yes, people will often splurge and get a bigger house than they were looking for because it is that much better, but nothing is going to convince them to buy a mansion if they were looking for a 3-bedroom.
