So if I'm understanding right, if you're making a custom station and other 3ds, they are allowed to cross the red lines?

If you want, you can make your custom station as large as the entire NL-building-area. It's the station's track that should be inside the box.

As for 3ds. Not all 3ds can cross lines or go on water. If you build a 3ds support structre, it'll be seen as supports and not scenery. And on the other hand, if you build scene objects out of supports and catwalks, they'll be seen as scenery and not supports.

can we build 3DS waterfalls? or would that count as changing the land?

Depens on the kind of waterfall. If you recreate a naturale waterfall it would count as changing terrain. Yet, if you make an articificial one, like some people have in their ugly gardens, then it's scenery.

If you downloaded Mauler, I used the same colors.

Could anybody tell me how to change the auto wood supports to steel? I completely forgot how to do it, haven't made one of these in years.

You have to make just the supports under the track first, and then select all > choose steel L-Beam > Supports > Transform selected beams. Then you auto-generate catwalks and handrails so that they'll be wooden.

I'm 2 rabbit hops and a turn away from the finish, and I'm really happy with how mine's turning out. The only issue is that I'm going to be cutting it really close on the length. I'm already up to 1000 m, and the out track covering about the same length takes up 165, which leaves me about an extra 35 m to make the brakes and the turn back into the station. I hope I don't have to sacrifice anything to make it fit...

Side note:
No entries posted yet? Jeez, usually there's at least five up within the first week.

Ahh alright, thanks Gerst. I'm about half way done with track, but I'm going to have huge support issues with not touching the water. There are three parts of the track that are going to be within like half a foot of the water once supports are done, if all goes well. Either way, I'm pretty happy with what I have so far [:D] I'll be putting a teaser up soon.

Incinerator is complete
3864' long
104' tall

I'm done but not going to submit just yet to make sure that I dont have any DQ worthy stuff in there.
I almost said I was done with the coaster and almost submitted it a couple days ago but I did a wraparound prelift and the lift totally went right through the box for the station - didn't read the rules all the way thru.

Can I use 3d rocks? Or is that considered editing terrain.

^You can use rocks, but just as decoration. If you pile up those rocks so that they look like a mountain or trench, it'll be considered editing terrain.

Jake, of all the possible coaster names you come up with 'Torrent'? Did Cedar Fair hire you?

What's wrong with Torrent? If you look up the definition you will see that the name perfectly fits the style of coaster and template.

I think I'm the only person with the first drop pointing towards the mainland. I'm smart like that.
