Im gonna need a little more than that, Jake, you're being really vague.

I'll go to PM so I don't give away my ride...I just want to clarify what will be counted an inversion and what won't.

Why don't you just move the station over just a small bit so it is in the middle of the buildings and doesn't touch?

That's not allowed. They might not touch the ground, but they are in the dark green area. However, you can place footers on TOP the buidlings themselves.

^I have some advice that has helped me. Click on the most banked vertex on that element and look towards the top right of the editor. If the banking is less than 155*...it should be fine. Right?

Oh and hyyyper, regarding the supports in the dark green area, you may want to clear that up a bit. I don't understand why CKidd's supports wouldn't work, when the rules say that only FOOTERS may not touch the dark green area...no mention of the supports themselves.

Ok, let me clear it up. The dark green area is not just the ground. It's also the area above.
If I would've said 'no footers may touch the ground in the dark green area', then CKidd would have been right.
But there can be no footers in the dark green area, wether it's on the ground of 50ft up.

So we're allowed to have track in the dark green, but we can't support it?

Yes, how is that a problem?

No, you got it all wrong. Track and supports can go in dark green, but footers can't be in dark green and will have to be place on top of buildings, on the walls facing paths, on paths and in the purple and light blue areas.

^so make 3ds footers... you can easily do it with the trial version of Object Creator. Just take an aerial view of a real footer, turn it into a 512x512 jpg image, stick it in the "ObjTextures" folder, and make a 3-D cube. Voila!

UGH. I guess you can call your first wildcard, because I'm going to drop out. I just finished my entire track layout, but then realized that my vertical lift took place in the blue box (which, I soon realized, had a max. height requirement.) I've tried everything possible to move the entire track so that I won't be disqualified, but there is simply no solution other than to create a whole new track. Sadly, I have no inspiration/patience to start over, so...

See you next year, I guess.
