I don't think that was an official POV at all. This reminds me of the Manta POV that was on YouTube. That ride looks poorly heartlined with heartline roll and the mid-brake run is not straight. Also, I think those "trims" were actually used to slow or speed up the ride unrealistically to. There were also quite a few tree collisions that I know were not on purpose.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. Its hard to tell what stuff is from the actual park and what is being released by the parks fan sites.

^I believe this is official... The coaster is clearly the same as the one in the teaser video on Mirabilandia.it...
And, if Intamin will make it the way they did every other coaster (I mean, the transitions and stuff... overall track shaping), we can allready make out what it will look like...

On arrival of the news iSpeed, the novelty of 2009 Mirabilandia, Friday or Saturday on parksmania will be posted information about the departure of the station launched coaster being built in Wonderland.

In the following days will be reported when you begin to get the material for the construction of the new park in 2009.

And the italian version:
In arrivo delle notizie riguardanti iSpeed, la novit#224; 2009 di Mirabilandia, venerdi o sabato su parksmania verranno pubblicate informazioni riguardanti la stazione di partenza del launched coaster in costruzione a Mirabilandia.

Nei giorni seguenti verr#224; data notizia di quando comincer#224; ad arrivare il materiale per la costruzione della novit#224; 2009 del parco.

So, if I get this ride, there will be more news on parksmania.it over the weekend, including pictures of the "building material", which I think means the track and supports...?
Awesome!

I work for the realization of "iSpeed" are again from a few days and will begin to arrive soon, the first pieces from Switzerland, home of the producer of the new coaster Mirabilandia 2009.

The deadlines are met at the time because until now it took various jobs in the preparation of documents, which had to be freed from the presence of the paths of "Autosplash" and "Wonderland Express". After that, were performed the works of excavation and foundation, leading to the assembly of steel parts that rise to over 50 meters in height.

Meanwhile it was decided the issue of the station from where trains leave for "iSpeed." The departure will be, as has long been recognized, the type launched. The launch will be made directly from the station.

So, I'm not exactly sure what that is supposed to mean...
I can understand the arrival of the track pieces, and that the trains will launch directly from the station.
But i cannot understand the middle part...
Are they going to tear down auto splash and the mirabilandia express too?

Also:
http://parksmania.it/parco_news.php?pid=2&nid=3824
Here you can find a pic of the inside of the station...
If you look carefully, you can see there's 3 release dors for entering the train, so that means 3 car trains!

Whole new artworks have been posted!
And, they seem to be way more accurate than the stuff we've seen previously, altho, that doesn't necessarily mean that whet's shown in these is better than what was shown in those NL videos...
See for yourself:

As far as I can see, they've made quite a few changes to the old layout...
- The hill after the tophat is lower
- The bump after the first hill has been changed into an S-transition
- They changed the entrance to the immelamn... Well, actually only the angle...
- they replaced the immelman with an overbank :(
- The brake is WAY longer
- They took out the 2nd heartline roll

As far as I could see, that's it.

But, I guess some of those changes were made, so they wouldn't need the trims after the tophat, which were shown in the video...
(yedah, keep telling that to yourself... :/)

Oh god, if they actually have SUCH a flaming red station I might kill them [lol] That's way too much blatant red. But it's just artwork, I'm sure they'll ease off.

Well I'm sad to see two whole inversions go! That takes away a lot of substance. I can't really tell, but the helix at the far end of the last picture ^^ looks very tight. Is that gonna have the hell trimmed out of it, or are my eyes just trickin'?

i am REALLY REALLY glad that intamin is finally making a "custom"(my word for it) model of the accelerator coaster. it seems that the only models that have been made so far has been TTD and Rita (+ 1 more but i can't seem to remember the name).
Coaster Count: 582 // Top Five: 1. Helix 2. Nemesis 3. Big Bad Wolf 4. Boulder Dash 5. Balder

Also, I just figured out how they're going to get the trains over teh tophat at only 100kph!

Image

Yay for LSMs on the entrance to the tophat.
Looks like someone would cheat in NoLimits... XD

I don't understand why would there be trim brakes right of a launch...?
Also, how else in the world would the train make it to the top?
Stormrunner has a 116kph launch, and a 45m high tophat.
iSpeed has a 55m tall tophat and a 100kph launch.

Also, this one will not have a hydraulic launch, but a LSM one, so it makes sense...

Those brake fins are on pistons just like the usual intamin launch ones. My guess would be that for some reason the launch is too short to slow the train down in case of a rollback.

Vid you can see that the style changes from LMS panels to a different kind of panel, most likely brake panels; like people have been saying, probably for roll-back purposes.

Hmm, yeah, that makes sense.
but it's deffinately not a trim brake, to slow the train down on it's way up...

Also, why are they allready testing with the trains?
And why are there only 2 cars per train, why not 3?
The train looks pretty complete to me like this, becouse of those 2 sets of big wheels at the front and in the back...
Any ideas?

What is that train doing at the top?
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

I wouldn't be so sure. Canadmos had a similar effect on his X-Lawl. If it so happens that they have to stop the launch from launching sometime before the train leaves the launch section, they're might be enough speed for the train to get over the tophat, but not the rest of the layout. Which is why they would slow it down to keep it from going over the tophat and possibly failing the rest of the layout? I don't know that doesn't seem to make sense seeing as everything is pretty much lower than the tophat. I don't get it!!!! Haha.

Or maybe it isn't for the way up, just an early start for slowing down a backwards rollback?

Also, why are they allready testing with the trains?

I don't think they are testing. At first sight I thought it was a train pull-through, but it doesn't look like it very much...
