Brodeur, the New Jersey Devils goaltender, is chasing records after coming back from injury. So far he has 9 wins and 3 shutouts and one loss after coming back from injury.

Here are the records he is chasing and has beaten:

Brodeur has 553 wins and is the record holder in the NHL.

Brodeur has 101 shutouts and Terry Sawchuk (The record holder) has 103

3-20-09: Brodeur has recorded his 101st shutout in a 4-0 victory to the Minnesota Wild in with a 35 save performance.

3-17-09: Brodeur has passed Patrik Roy in all-time records in career wins and has won 3-2 woooooo! [:p][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][^][:)][;)][8D]
Patrik Elias has also scored his 702nd point to pass John McLean in Franchise Record!

just because you're canadian doesn't mean you HAVE to be a fan of hockey! I'm not canadian, i like violence, hence i like hockey, so i can see why most would since it's violent and near where you live [:D]

Um. I am from America, NOT Canada; read a profile before you say someone is from another country. Why would I like a New Jersey team if I'm from Canada?

This is true, it would be like being a football (soccer) fan living in America, you'd have to support someone from a different country because well... the MLS is just poor. That "LA Storm Laser Fire Burn Glactic Assasins" or whatever they're called thought David Beckham was a decent player or something [lol]. Poor, sadly mistaken people.

Having said that, I've been to watch Coventry in the Elite Hockey League here, and it was still good, just didn't have the same hype surrounding it as the NHL
