just because you're canadian doesn't mean you HAVE to be a fan of hockey! I'm not canadian, i like violence, hence i like hockey, so i can see why most would since it's violent and near where you live [:D]

This is true, it would be like being a football (soccer) fan living in America, you'd have to support someone from a different country because well... the MLS is just poor. That "LA Storm Laser Fire Burn Glactic Assasins" or whatever they're called thought David Beckham was a decent player or something . Poor, sadly mistaken people.

Having said that, I've been to watch Coventry in the Elite Hockey League here, and it was still good, just didn't have the same hype surrounding it as the NHL
