ok, so today i got into an arguement with my teacher (yes my teacher) about how Gemini at cedar point is a steel coaster. The teacher is practically yelling at me, saying that its wooden just because of the supports. I say its steel because of the track, but the teacher it yelling at me, acting like i dont know what im talking about. Anyways, who's right? me or the teacher?

p.s.
i think its steel
the teacher thinks its wooden

Steel! But it's a hybrid. Wood structure. Classified as steel though.

thats what i thought, because i tried to argue that if the supports were steel, the ride would be the same

Did you bring up other hybrid rides? The Voyage clearly isn't a steel coaster, as you can see by the trains. Similarly, Gemini has trains indicitive of a steel ride, regardless of its support structure.

No, i didnt, I'll bring that up though, because I know the arguement will continue on to tomorrow. My teacher also tried to argue that Top Thrill Dragster is a suck a** roller coaster because it "falls back 20% of the time"
1. it doesnt fall back 1 out of every 5 tries
2. he's too scared to ride it in the first place

but no, pretty much everyone in the class had to argue his point, making me feel like a f****** idiot and like i don't know what i'm talking about

we got on to this arguement because my teacher is an a** and knows i like roller coasters, but he just brings this up and it pisses me off

I hate teachers like that. I remember something like that happening to me during a school field trip
What are these for?

Not everyone is an expert on everything, accept it, and chill out.

You should probably just dip on that rainbow loving person and helping him with stuff if he's actually doing this crap to you.

Leave some damage to his car as well.

It is steel you are correct...yes the supports are wood so hybrid TECHNICALLY but it is steel...and your techer obviously isn't a genius like all of us...plus rollbacks are the best part of TTD.

Hahaha, you made me smile huge at that. You should just use that Jms10391; "Yeah...TTD rolls back, and it's bitchin!" [lol]

sad part is that he uses "bitchin" a lot
and another thing is that today we're learning about the structure of databases (which is related to this because this site probably uses a large database) and i corrected his logic.... but i guess i dont matter at all in that class

I'm pretty sure he meant that your teacher isn't an expert on roller coasters, so just accept that and don't bother arguing with him about it. If I said something every time I heard someone I know say something retarded about coasters I would probably just come off as a dick and not have many friends.[:p]

yeah, but the thing is that he does it on purpose just to piss me off, he'll pretty much call me out and he tries to test my knowledge and fails....

No I'm implying you've had as much experience with woman as I've had. No lines to read between, no tricks.

I would also like to add that you seem educated.

You're thick.

I am under the impression that you have had as much experience as I have had with woman. Again, no tricks, no word play, no double negatives, nothing to hide in that statement.
