Smooth: Katun
Rough: Super 8erbahn - I could feel every single segment. Well, feel might be an understatement...

Smoothest- Millenium force, Cedar Point

Roughest- Mean Streak, Cedar Point

smooth- Goliath at La Ronde, Definitely. Mummy @ USH next.

rough- cyclone @ sfne's pretty bad. But really fun.

I dont understand XLC being rough. I rode it in its last days, and its first or second year. It was fine both times, in front and back. Hmm

XLC was rough to me in that it was really bouncy. It didn't hurt but it tracked really awful. It also had the worst brakes ever, in my opinion. And my last ride on Cyclone was really amazing. Airtime everywhere, and I'd almost call it smooth (definitely aggressive though). I've said it before, if not for those damn trims at the end, it would probably be top 3-5 for me based on that last ride.

Smoothest- 3 way tie between wildfire, maverick, and mf
Roughest- another difficult one. Mr freeze, powder keg, adn mean streak are all aerious contenders. But mr. freeze is one of my favorite rides and mean streak beat me like a rag doll. proabaly mean streak

But boss is very rough and i love it.

i love the first drop on SOB, and the loop was amazing back in the day. the only rough part about the ride is the rose bowl. that thing is the most beautiful and painful element ideas for a wood coaster. like a rose it is stunning, but every rose has it's thorn, and it's got a whole bowl lol.

Roughest -SOB (pre castration)

Smoothest-Nitro,Apollos Chariots and oddly Titan(smooth violence?). Roughest are The Rattler before big reprofile(mean ejector air and painful slam at first 166 drop) also Texas Giant and Texas cyclone(early version).

The smoothest would probably be MF.
The roughest coaster would be The Rattler at Fiesta Texas. But not the current version. I'm talking the 1st year it opened. OUCH...I guess I like pain because I did 67 circuits that day.

I'll have to agree with Mean Streak, I wish they would just let her run brake less, as they did when it opened. Was still pretty rough, but it was at least out of control.

I also had a pretty horrible experience of in terms of roughness on Rebel Yell at Kings Dominion.

Smoothest is by far AIR or Nemesis Inferno, but they became so smooth it felt like you was hardly moving.

I haven't ridden a lot of coasters around the country, but I would say the smoothest I have ridden would be Lightning Racer at HersheyPark. The roughest would be between Son of Beast at Kings Island or Hurricane at Myrtle Beach Pavilion.

Roughest: Grizzly@Ca'sGA, made a BIG mistake by sitting in the very back.

Smoothest-Superman Ultimate Flight at SFGAm (It was so smooth it was boring though...)

Roughest-Boss at SFSTL during the 2007 season. It hadn't been retracked for quite some time and those Morgan trains aren't very nice to the track. Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain would have won, but it was sort of intended to be jerky and screwed up.
